    Very cold night…hopeful about seeing the Northern lights….and we did. The tour leader/commentator was great…talked about the northern lights and how they are created and helped to guide in the viewing and finding of them. Crew was fantastic, drinks were good …great evening!

    We were very lucky to see the Northern Lights on our first night in Iceland. Amazing! Loved the yacht cruise - great guide, knowledgeable and helpful with getting the best photos possible. It was great to get away from the light pollution of Reykjavik to enhance the whole experience. It was absolutely freezing though so definitely wrap up!!

    We were on the yacht, which we had an Amazing time seeing the Northern lights. There is a little tip when going to see the Northern lights is to put your phone on Night mode and you will get the Anazing picture of this Wonderful wonder of the World. Well worth seeing.

    Great trip. Guide very good.would recommend. Maybe a free drink on the Boat to get things going. Good value for money at Sea for Two hours.

    I am disappointed. I did not have a great experience. I didn’t see the lights. I was running all around the boat to see and didn’t get anything. The worst part was that when I confronted the guide she offered to send me the lights from last week. This was one of my dream failed.

    It was quite a disappointing trip really. I know that the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon & there is no guarantee that they are going to be seen. I’m sure it happens quite regularly that lights are not seen but at almost a €100 each for the trip some kind of interaction/entertainment could be provided. Not even a drink was included in the fare!! Just sitting in the boat for 2 hours.

    Not sure what other people expected. The tour operator makes it pretty clear that, being a natural phenomenon, highly dependent on weather and other conditions, the Northern Lights may not be visible. Also, they do their best to make it up to you by giving a free voucher to try it again. As for my experience, I found the cruise enjoyable and beautiful. The crew was very nice. Sure, it was a little on the crowded side, but again, expected. Blankets were available, they explained just about the right amount. I guess they could’ve talked about landmarks you couldn’t see or make out, but that would’ve been frustrating. We had a lot of fun.

    This tour was a great way to see the northern lights. The crew was fairly friendly and the lady who was the guide was lovely. She provided tips on how to get better photos and informed us of when the lights were changing/which end of the boat was best to see them when they changed. Only downside was they crammed the boat full of people so it became quite difficult to move about, take photos, and find seating. It’s also quite cold (we just went the other day in March) so bundle up! :)

    Wrap up warm it’s very cold out on the water. You can buy a drink on board while heading out, about an hour. Then can be crowded on deck when told the lights are starting their show, everyone goes out at once. When you see the lights via your camera it’s a surprising feeling, as to the naked eye it looks like grey swirls in the sky but through the camera they are green, mauve, red and blue. Truly a sight to behold. Everyone is very animated at this point as it is spectacular. We stayed out for about an hour & twenty then as the lights moved off we headed back to land. It is what Iceland is all about so a must on the list of top things to do.

    We hit the spot and the entire two hour cruise had northern lights from start to finish. Highly recommend this tour. Your get to go another day if you don’t hit the jackpot.

    We took this trip on 10th March and really enjoyed it. The location was easy to find and we departed on time. It was freezing out on deck and very windy so wrap up extra warm! It was rather busy on board but there are lots of seating areas and the bar serves really nice hot chocolate. We were so lucky to see the Northern Lights and were treated to a great show. Would 100% recommend this tour as part of your iceland trip!

    The boat was lovely and warm with a nice bar service, the staff were friendly & informed us as soon as we were on the Northern lights. We cancelled our initial trip as the weather was bad and they moved us without hesitation.
