It's a long day but it doesn't feel it - just the right amount of time at each place.
You have to climb stairs and then walk over which eats up time so you will probably get back to the bus late.
You can also stay on the bus, which drives around the park to pick up those electing to take the walk.

Great tour and a great guide

This tour was really amazing and educational. Our tour guide Gummi was patient, kind, and very knowledgeable. He had great stories and facts to tell about each location that we visited. He even made a special stop, so that our 7 year old could feed some horses, which made her whole year. This tour made for a great day- highly recommend.

This was an excellent tour, the pace was good and we got to see everything we hoped. The guide (Dooley) really made it, with just the right amount of interesting information delivered in a really engaging way. Would definitely recommend.

The tour was very good. My only criticism would be that as the your was full, 4 people had to sit in very squashed seats at the back without any window view. These seats were so bad that the rest of the group was asked to swap around at one point on the tour. Given how much you pay for the tour, I would not want to sit in these seats and not fair to make people feel bad if they don't want to swap. The tour company really shouldn't be selling these seats.

Fast, efficient tour of the Golden Circle

This was a great, small group way to see the famous Golden Circle sights. Pickup was on time. Ian, our guide was very personable and knowledgeable of Iceland. I would have enjoyed longer times at each sight, as 30 minutes was limiting to actually spend time at each stop. But it also would have made the day much longer. I would recommend it as a fast , efficient tour of the sights.

Easy, interesting tour with a great guide

We had a great trip. Pick ups were prompt and very easy to arrange direct from our hotel and the bus was very comfortable for a day's outing. Our guide, Gummi, was brilliant! I'd go so far as to say what he doesn't know about Iceland, its unique geology and its history is probably not worth knowing! Would recommend to anyone who wants to learn and see some incredible sites.

Dooley was the best tour guide we got on this trip. I loved hearing about his life and what Iceland was like when he grew up. All the stops were cool, and the secret lagoon was super pretty and peaceful, but Dooley was really the highlight. He went out of his way to make the best possible trip for us (checking weather conditions, dropping us off close to activities, throwing in jokes) and I learned so much more about Iceland than I expected to.

Great tour. Loved seeing the countryside, the falls and especially the Geysir going off! Secret lagoon in the snow was a fab ending. Drive back through a blizzard was a little scary though!! Would've liked a little longer to walk in the national park.

Dooley our driver was fantastic and put us at easy on a very snowy and extremely windy day. We got to see everything that was included on our trip while lots of other trips were cancelled due to the extreme weather

A great small day trip covering the main Sights with the waterfalls, national park, geysers and the excellent secret lagoon! A trip that wasn’t too long, approx. 8 hours, with only 10 individuals on the minibus. Dooley was an excellent guide with brilliant stories as well as covering all the main points of information. The weather was wild but this didn’t spoil the trip. We would thoroughly recommend to all!

The secret laguna was brilliant after a day of heavy rain that made the tour difficult but didn't spoil it, geyser was brilliant as was the golden waterfall (largely frozen so very different from the lovely photos). Doyley the guide was very informative and careful

We had a fantastic day with Gummie our lovely tour guide who introduced us to the real Iceland. He took us around the Golden Circle and the facts and knowledge he shared with a few personal stories made us feel as though we were able to experience Iceland from not only through brilliant tour guide but also a true local!
