Lu (Luce) our guide was the BEST! She took great care of us. She made our experience so beautiful. We had a great time and it was once in a lifetime activity.
Unique experience

This was a really cool experience, our guide Celia was great. I would recommend giving this a go as it is a unique excursion which you won't be able to do anywhere else.
A once-in-a-lifetime experience
Season_K, Mar 2023
I went in the winter and I do NOT recommend that, for obvious reasons. But the experience was AMAZING. My husband loved being able to swim between the two fissures and experience the insanely clear and clean water. I would definitely do this again, but in the summer, or early autumn. But our guide was fantastic and kept us all safe and comfortable.
A great time for families!

This was a wonderful experience! Our guide Celia was the best. The meeting point was easy to get to and luckily we didn’t have any waiting time to get into the water. Definitely recommended!! It’s cold in your hands and face, but very fun :)
Perfect day!

Elsa was an amazing guide from start to finish. One of the coolest experiences. Couldn’t recommend it more.
Can survive the cold
Eric_W, Mar 2023
I was terrified of the cold. The heated van was very reassuring and the staff was quick to keep me warm. they did an awesome job and the water wasn't nearly as cold as I expected! The water was so clear-absolutely worth it!

Incredible Bucket List Experience
Zanne_A, Mar 2023
My husband and I went on this excursion yesterday with Elsa as our guide. The entire experience was top notch and I would readily recommend it to anyone! Professional, informative, funny, and friendly, Elsa did an incredible job as she guided us through gearing up and then swimming between the tectonic plates. Take a base layer to wear under the provided thermal onesie that goes under the dry suit and bring some dry clothes to change into after just in case your suit leaks a bit. If you plan to take your own GoPro for video or extra pics make sure to bring a mount or strap as the gloves make it impossible to hold for the duration of the swim - the cold water will require a housing for it as well. Elsa captured some great images for us to help preserve the memories for a life time. 10 out of 10 experience!
Brilliant experience

This was an amazing trip and so worth doing. I recommend wearing warm clothes that you can keep on under the thermals you are given. I had on thick leggings, a thermal long sleeved top and socks. There is a heated van to change in but my clothes didn’t get wet under the suit. The trip was really great, our guide Lu was very informative and really friendly. The pictures were great!
An absolutely beautiful experience made even better by Celia!
Hayley_B, Feb 2023
What an absolutely incredible day!!!! Our guide was Celia and she was BRILLIANT and really made the experience perfect for us. I was not sure what to wear, most of the information doesn't specify, but you get dry suits - so you can wear thin layers underneath and the dry suit keeps you completely dry throughout! The suit enables you to float so you really don't have to be a strong swimmer! Getting the suit on however - is interesting but the team were great! Visibility is amazing and it was a real pinch me moment when we first looked down! It is located in Pingvellier National Park which is just stunning - so take some time before your tour to explore!! Thanks Celia for an truly incredible trip!!!
Excellent day out

One of the best experiences of my life! Leo was our guide he was brilliant, he explained everything really well to us, he was funny and even gave us some recommendations for where to eat that evening! The actual swimming was one of the best experiences ever and the photos I will treasure forever! Thank you Leo!! 🇮🇸
It’s good if you’re in good shape.

We were so excited about this tour, admittedly mainly for bragging rights; I mean who snorkels in Iceland in February? Sadly, It was just OK. You don’t really get to touch both tectonic plates at the same time, it is pretend touching, just two rocks. Touching both is not physically possible. We didn’t know that until we were there. The other main thing is, that they need to tell you that it is VERY physically taxing. It is a lot by the time you put on all of the equipment which surprising weighs a fair amount, (more when wet) and you walk across the street and down a path to get in. Admittedly, I am an overweight 60 year old but come on. It’s snorkeling, how hard can it be! Our guide was very good and very funny I must say. She kept pointing out all of the things we shouldn’t do unless we “wanted to die.” LoL. Once it the water, we felt like a tick about to explode. It’s like the suit fills with air making it difficult to move around. We felt like Randy from a Christmas Story. Can’t really look anywhere but straight down, which it was nothing but grey rocks. Apparently the pretty green colors are not there in the winter…didn’t know that either. Later, I thought we were in the lagoon at the end of our swim, so I rolled over onto my back and started chilling out. I guess it wasn’t the end and our cute guide came over and “rescued me.” Not realizing that I was in any kind of distress, I just got a free ride as she pulled me along by the hand to get me back in place with everyone else. We continued our swim down and around and finally got to the end and got out even further away from home base… so now the suits weigh about 50 pounds wet, (ok I’m exaggerating but they are heavy) your cold and in my case, a bit cranky. We get back to home base, turn in our equipment, accept lukewarm chocolate water and we are on our way. My husband who is a workout king really enjoyed it, me the overweight old lady…not so much. Get in really good shape before booking this tour.
Amazing!

Amazing! Super fun and your guide walks you through everything! The dry suit is not fun to be in, however once your in the water it’s so beautiful you forget about everything else!
A bucket list adventure not to be missed!
Meri_H, Jan 2023
Andrea and crew were friendly, knowledgeable and over all amazing! Breathtaking views, unique topography, and the clearest/cleanest water you’ll ever see! Prior to the adventure I read numerous reviews which criticized changing space. Keeping in mind this experience takes place in a national park, in a remote area and you only strip off outer layers and keep your long johns the changing space was more than adequate. Tip: 1) I wore smart wool ankle socks, which bunched up in the dressing process. I would recommend full length extra thick socks. 2) The dry suits are not custom fit and as such may leak a tad, so bring an extra pair of socks and shirt. 3) If enjoy this tour in the winter, bring hand warmers and put them in the tote with your boots and gloves for when you’re peeled out of your frozen dry suit. You’ll thank me!

Wonderful staff! We loved our private tour with Veronica. Probably the coldest day to snorkel (-18 Celsius) but we enjoyed every moment of it.
Breathtaking

Lou was an amazing guide. Made me feel completely at ease. Such a beautiful scenery. 45 minutes snorkeling may sound like a lot of time but it goes by so fast while enjoying the views!
