What To Expect

Meet your tour coach at Reykjavik Terminal or upgrade to include hotel pickup in the morning to embark on your tour of Iceland's North Atlantic coast. Find your seat and enjoy onboard WiFi, USB charging ports at each seat, and an audio guide available in 10 languages.

Take off along the North Atlantic coast and into the volcanoes and lava fields in Hengill. Arrive in the rolling farmland of the southern coastline, with views of the Hekla Volcano on sunny days. Catch a glimpse of the Eyjafjalljökull Volcano and the glaciers on its slopes, as well as the jagged, volcanic Vestmannaeyjar Islands punctuating the ocean that lies beyond. 

Make your initial stop at the Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, a 196-foot (60-meter) cascade, which you can skirt on foot due to its hidden posterior pathway. Continue to the Skógafoss Waterfall; climb a short flight of stairs to the top to see one of the country's best lookout points.

At Sólheimajökull Glacier, break out your camera for fantastic photos of the otherworldly ice fields. Next, walk on the dark landscape of Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, watching the ocean crash up against the jagged basalt sea stacks and columns.

Return to your original departure point at the end of the tour.

Amazing waterfalls!

We had a great time on this trip, our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable on a vast array of Icelandic topics. Our driver Gregor also made us feel very safe on the roads. Tak Tak, bless bless!
Great trip for a family to the South Coast

This was a great trip, and I would highly recommend it for those of you who have limited time but would like to see the southern coast. The tour guide was amazing and shared lots of interesting facts about Iceland and the sites that we visited. The pick-up in the morning was a bit confusing as our names did not appear on the list of passengers when the bus came to pick us up even though we had confirmation from the tour operator of pick-up time and location via email. It was resolved on the spot, but had I not asked the driver to call it in, we would have missed our tour. The only other complaint is the location where they make their morning rest stop was so full of other tourists that the 20 minutes allotted to go to the bathroom or purchase a beverage was unrealistic. The lines for both were so long that we were unable to do either. Despite this however, I would use this company again.

It was cancelled day prior but no text or e-mail send. Behind furios. Only found out bcs of nice man in bus station. Also I must write for a refund. It’s not automatical. Get you s**ts together.

Excellent tour of the South Coast. Our guide Robin (sp?) was awesome and we even got in a few extra stops. It didn't feel rushed and we got to see everything in daylight (minus the last stop but that was mentioned in the itinerary). It was a great time!

I did a similar trip 26 years ago, it was good to go back and see some of the sights plus quite a few new places, the weather was terrible but was still worth the trip, on time pick up and a friendly guide ( I'm terrible for remembering names)

The waterfalls were amazing. I do not feel we were properly warned on the intensity of the climbing on slippery rocks if you wanted to walk behind. There should be more warning so ppl know what to expect

Was an easy pick up and travelling. Tablets were helpful and guide was pleasant with good humor and insight. Just wish there was more time given at each location. Often had to choose between the bathroom or getting a close up. 15-20 minutes is not enough to appreciate these sites. Overall was a way to see such unique and beautiful sites, just be warned rushing can be an issue.

Wow what an amazing trip, yes its long but the scenery is incredible. Volcanoes, black sand beaches, waterfalls including walking behind a waterfall amazing. Our guide Elly was excellent lots of information given. Highly recommend this tour, so many photo opportunities.

Great trip

Easy to arrange, collected and dropped off from a bus stop very near the hotel. Guide and driver/s were very friendly and helpful, plus you get an electronic GPS tablet that gives you extra information as you go. We saw some amazing sights so it was well worth it. The only slight criticism I would give is the timings at some of the sights were very tight. Especially at the Glacier. Only half an hour and it's at least a 10 minute walk each way (if you are a fast walker) to the viewing area so hardly any time to see it. We had an hour at the Black beach and a 20 minute break early on during the tour those could have probably been cut down a bit to give extra time at the Glacier.

Memories that no one can take from us

Nice tour, beautiful places, good guide. By just going to those places you would miss a lot what the guide tells you on a bus during the drive. Of course would have been nice to be even longer time in the destinations. Now you need to make selections what do you really want to see / where you really want to go. We got lots of memories to carry with!

Originally, I wanted to go on a different tour, but it got canceled so I chose this one and I must say I am pretty happy about the whole excursion. There is a lot to see, basically, you get a little bit of everything of the Icelandic wonders.

Svenbo "Bo" was an excellent guide. Super knowledgeable and great personality. He made a few extra stops along the way so we could get a better idea of what he was talking about and to see Iceland up close. All around great tour. Was very happy I went. It is a long day, but there is so much to see and you don't realize that you've been out all that time until you are heading back home.

Trip worth the time and money

This was an amazing trip, full of incredible information about Iceland. The initial driver who picked me up had us in stitches, and our tour driver, B G I believe (he looks like Walter White's brother) was just phenomenal.

Mesmerized beyond words

South iceland is beautiful beyond words. My wife wanted to go in the summer, but she was mesmerized beyond words how beautiful everything was. The host Arni was amazing his knowledge of iceland was fantastic. When I come back to iceland I will definetly do this trip again ... 5 star experience. And the driver was a great and experienced driver.

Delightful Iceland Tour

We booked last minute and they were able to accommodate. We visited 4/5 great sites each was walkable. Waterfalls and volcanoes and glaciers were amazing. Tour guide was very informative and made up time and gave us extra time to visit sites. With bad weather on the way guide and driver made sure everyone was safe and made it on time for the bus. Guide told us stories of Iceland folklore and history of the area. Definitely would recommend this tour
