Luca was great. Very knowledgeable, pleasant and thorough. He explained all the areas and more. At end of tour he walked with us to a restaurant and explained where we could pick up a taxi.

Best Bang for the Buck Walking Tour

Our guide met us promptly at the agreed upon time and location and we did a thorough walking tour of the city. Although we only had a brief time in the city, this tour made us feel that we really "saw" Reykjavik and learned all about the history and important locations. This tour is a great value for the price. Our guide even brought a traditional Iceland snack and drink to share with the group.

City walk

It was a wonderful walking tour. Luca is local and very knowledgeable about the city and history of Iceland. In three hours the tour covered all of the major attractions of Reykjavik. The short break by the water front is very relaxing!

Exceptional tour! Luca was great about making the tour interesting, educational, and fun! He covered some very interesting places along the tour, and is extremely knowledgeable. The pace of the tour is just right - not too quick and not too drawn out, it feels perfectly paced for the vast amount of places you visit. Of the various walking tours I've been on in my life throughout the world, I can easily say that this one was the best. It is a trip that will truly get you ready for the local history and get you acquainted with the city. Easily worth the 5 stars, I with I could give it more! Excellent walking tour with Luca

Our walking tour with Luca was a great way to start our vacation in Reykjavik. The meeting spot was convenient and easy to find. Luca was so knowledgeable and offered many suggestions on things to see. A restaurant he recommended ended up being our favorite meal during our stay. We took a short break during our tour to sit at Lake Tjornin and admire the views. While there, Luca offered us Icelandic snacks to taste - dried cod, an Icelandic liquor (I think it was called Brennivin), and chocolate. I highly recommend this tour for a great overview of the city.

We’ve been blessed to have traveled to over 50 countries and have had many excellent tour guides. Luca from Raven Travel was among the best. Detailed history and hidden gems. Am Icelandic “snack” of dried cod ( an acquired taste I think), Aquavit and chocolate. Very knowledgeable. Sorry glad we did this tour.

Tour of the city

We were the only couple on our tour. He was very informative on Iceland’s history and went above and beyond to explain things. We enjoyed getting to see the city and view the old houses and try dried fish for the first time. We saw the first jail and some of the old neighborhoods in the city. It was a great tour and would definitely recommend it

Luca was my first stop when I arrived in Reykjavik! The tour was fantastic as he gave an amazing amount of context about Iceland (and did it better than any other tour I took during my week!) - and also gave me a good initial understanding of the layout of Reykjavik which made it much easier to navigate throughout the week. Luca followed up our tour with suggested restaurants and sightseeing opportunities in Reykjavik, and even through my time was limited in the city the list of restaurants were my go-to each day!
