Watching the super pod of dolphins!!!! The babies were so sweet. There were sooooo many! What a treat to add numerous sightings of Davy JonesII to the day!! My first whale watch was very successful!!!

I feel that this cruise books expensive tours knowing that the likelihood of seeing whales is very low, and offers the opportunity to rebook within three years if no whales are seen, knowing that most people will not take them up on that because it would require a trip back to Iceland. We booked on a whim because we met a couple at a local hotel who had said they were doing it the next day, and we thought it sounded like a good idea so we booked for ourselves a few days later. The day came for our tour, and not only did we not see any whales, we also saw that couple on our boat, which I assume means they didn’t see any on their originally booked tour and decided to rebook on this policy since they were staying in Iceland a long time (we chatted with them a bit, so we know this). When looking it up, I saw that it is most likely to see whales in Iceland from April-August or September, so I feel like they just load up boats of folks paying $150 a head knowing full well the likelihood of seeing anything is low, but the chances they will have to honor a rebook is also low.

If you tend to have motion sickness do NOT take this tour. I had motion sickness patch and took dramamine before the ride but these are very rough waters! And you can not go outside much because a lot of water is coming in and it's freezing. And there was NO whales. Waste of time and money for me. The boat is really nice but it was crowded and u have to pay for drinks. Not included. Not even one.

However, we would like to respectfully point out that motion sickness can affect people differently, and it's difficult to guarantee that everyone will have a comfortable ride, even with the use of motion sickness patches and medication. Really good tour. Beautiful scenery. We didn't get to see a whale but we seen dolphins. Definatly recommend to anyone wanting to see whales or dolphins. Freezing cold but boat well equip and friendly staff
Not worth the money

The crew had no personality one of them spoke for a part of the trip while trying spot whales however if you where on the bottom or middle deck you couldn’t hear her so basically left to look by your self. The boat was over crowed so if someone spotted something everyone rushed to the other side in the space of 3 hours we seen 2 dolphins. Complete waste of money.

Lovely to be out on the sea - we didn’t see any whales and am sure it’s not very often it happens. However it’s a lovely trip - wrap up warm as it’s cold on deck. All the crew were very helpful and nice and informative.

The service was fine but the circumstances of the day lead to a disappointing experience. We didn’t get to see any whales but understand we are in the hands of Mother Nature. In reality you are searching for a needle in a haystack. Don’t underestimate how cold it is and how choppy the waters can be which lead to some sea sickness.

After a fairly long boat trip we got to see a Humpback whale (in a harbour) which is apparently where they can mostly be spotted.

Lovely trip out, saw a whale so mission accomplished! Went at the end of Feb, very cold after 3 hours outside (didn't want to get seasick so stayed out, but there is a bar and seating inside). The crew gave useful info on how to spot the whales and plenty of direction on where to look. Top tip - layer up plenty of clothing, neck warmers, hats etc. And then take extra - especially to sit on!

Great communication before trip when I contacted via WhatsApp. Communication included directions on how to get to the check in desk. This was a 3 hour tour. We got blankets to keep warm on top deck. Set off 1.17pm, said it would take an hour to get to destination where whales had recently been seen. Didn't see anything til about 2.50pm, by this time we were in a harbour. 3.17pm had to make tracks back arriving at 4.55pm, so trip was longer than 3 hours. Our group expected to see large whales as seen on tv when filmed in Alaska, we were disappointed that the whales were much smaller and didn't come much out of the water but that's not tour operators fault. Definitely use this company again.

Great trip and very well organised. The tour guide was friendly and informative and did her absolute best to give everyone a heads up before a whale sighting. While the whales were keeping their distance, we did manage to see one come to the surface and it was overall very enjoyable!
