This may be hard with small children due to the time in the van and the subject matter of the information.
It is quite long (about 11 hours), but worth it.

Glacier visit?

Visiting the Glacier, The Volcano, The Water falls and the beautiful town of VIK. Everything was great!
South Coast Tour
Kim_A, Mar 2023
My partner and I went on the south coast tour and had Christian (hope I’ve got that right!) as our guide. Unfortunately the day didn’t go fully to plan because of the weather but Christian tried his best to give us a good day. Our bus door wouldn’t shut properly, which resulted in changing buses but that was tied in well with a coffee break. The wind and snow then made it unsafe for us to complete the full tour so we had to miss the black sand beach and Vik, but Christian made up for that with a stop at Urridaforce (I think) which was beautiful. The company also gave us a full refund which was very unexpected! Thanks for a great day Christian despite the challenges you faced!
Ask for Ingimar! Greatest tour guide ever!
Jennifer_K, Mar 2023
Our driver was Ingimar and he was an amazing tour guide. I learned so much and I actually started taking notes because it was so interesting. You learn about Icelandic history, people, culture and the land, and you see way more than you expect to see. Ingimar even tells some jokes and shared personal stories along the way! The first stop was for snacks for the road and a bathroom break after some driving. Next it was the site where you see the volcano that erupted in 2010. This is a short photo stop. Next up, the Skógafoss waterfall. This is a longer stop. It is gorgeous. Some people climb the stairs, but the 40 min stop might not be enough to get up and down and take good photos. We did not do any stairs. There is a little creek that runs from the waterfall that is pristine. So many photos here. Then, we made our way to the small city of Vik for a short photo stop of the beach and cute church. After Vik, a longer stop for an hour at Reynesfjara Beach black sand beach with Basalt columns and cave. We had great fish and chips at the little on site restaurant there, but if you want a lot of time on the beach, you should pack something to eat. We had about 15-20 min left after we ate and made a restroom stop to see and take photos on the beach. After the beach, we drove to the Glacier. It was a short hike near the glacier for photos. You see a lot of people in ice hiking gear. You won’t need that stuff. I do recommend hiking boots for stability. Lots of rocks and uneven land on all hikes. Finally, we made it to the Sejalandsfoss waterfall. It is an impressive series of waterfalls. In the summer, you can go behind it! There is a small wool market store and a place to get a bite to eat or drink there. The hot chocolate was in point with whipped cream. Ingimar also gave us a small piece of licorice chocolate candy that is popular in Iceland. I liked it! The ride home was quiet, but Ingimar played an Icelandic music playlist. This tour was so good! I highly recommend it and especially a tour with Ingimar!
Breathtaking

Great tour. Definitely experienced snow, ice and sun in one day. Filip was an amazing guide. Snowy in the morning so stopped on the way back when it was sunny.
Beautiful

A wonderful tour, with a fantastic tour guide. The sights are breathtaking. Must do if you're in Iceland!
A great way to see Iceland
Sean_F, Mar 2023
An early start 8am and Finley pick up. It’s a long day as you get back about 6pm. Driver Otto was helpful and safety was a first on all stops. First stop was about 9ins for a coffee and so have the pancakes ! Then off and stopping regularly at the base of the volcano , waterfalls , glacier, black beach where you have lunch - soup it’s worth it then we had an extra stop on a high hill to see the coast line and the door to Iceland followed by another waterfall and then a 90 min run back to the City . It’s a long day but the minibus is comfortable and the views of Iceland and the nearby islands stunning . We had a lovely sunny day which helped . Recommend to do this tour and the 400 plus steps up to e side of the waterfall too. It’s a great day out .
Book it!

This was an amazing trip, and although Filip is a newer guide, he did a fabulous job and was genuine with his request for and response to feedback. He was flexible but kept us on schedule. I would definitely recommend this tour - beautiful views!
A great tour

A really great day made better by our driver, Ian. It was great to see the waterfalls, glacier and the black beach.
Lovely day adventure

Outstanding day trip. Ingimar Oddson, our guide did an amazing job looking after us and providing very interesting Iceland facts. Great attitude and a lovely presence. Perfect way to explore the gems of the south coast. Thank you Ingimar!
Brilliant
Holly_G, Mar 2023
Alex was a brilliant tour guide, really friendly and knowledgeable. With the bad weather conditions the road was shut but he really tried his best to get us through to the rest of the tour and was never doubtful and was always optimistic that we would still get to do the full tour. He also made sure we was all safe on the black beach as it can be dangerous with the creeping waves
Glacier wow

Due to weather our original tour was cancelled. Bit of crossed wires and we ended up with 2 bookings for the next day. Quick email to your day tours and everything was rectified and the duplicate refunded straight away. Day of the tour the wind was still really high and roads were closed. Monica was great. We got some additional sights while waiting for the wind to die down. All turned out great in the end too so everyone got to see everything they wanted. Glacier was wow. Tour over ran to get everything in for everyone Monica keeping us informed and made sure everyone got to where they needed to be well on time for tours later that evening.
Wonderful tour, wonderful guide!
Kenneth_S, Mar 2023
Our tour guide, Klaus, made the trip one of the most memorable experiences we have ever had. Four couples, friends took the tour together. Our guide gave us information and history on everything we saw and laid out the route so that we could see and enjoy the tour according to the weather. We saw the waterfalls and glaciers in the sun and experienced the Black Sand Beach near Vik in the high wind. Our guide played music that synced with the experiences and weather! I recommend this trip to all!

Brilliant day out, our tour guide Ingimar was great and very knowledgeable. It was an incredible experience, a must-see!
Great day exploring a beautiful country
William_B, Mar 2023
What a great time. The tour wasn't perfect. We had some mechanical issues with the bus that set us back in time and threw our guide off his game. But his attitude was awesome. He kept at it and made the tour enjoyable and threw in a few extras to make up for the inconveniences. The scenery in Iceland is so beautiful and this tour captures the heart of it. Highly recommend.
Beautiful day
Mira_E, Mar 2023
Beautiful day out with a bit of insight of life in Iceland! The places are stunning and the we were lucky with an amazing weather!
Picturesque tour with a great guide!
Caroline_B, Mar 2023
This has been a truly amazing experience. We only had a few days in Iceland, so had to pick our activities carefully - This tour has been the highlight of our trip. Picturesque places, and we got particularly lucky with the weather. Our tour guide, Klaus, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He even made some extra stops that were not part of the travel itinerary, simply because he didn't want us to miss out on them. He also timed the stops perfectly and made sure we got there at the best times of the day, for optimal lighting in photos etc. 10/10, would highly recommend!
Special South Coast tour

First of all, Christoph/Kristov/ or cristoph/ (sp?) was an amazing tour guide. He was very funny, knowledgeable, and even made an extra stop to show us another site that wasn’t listed on the tour. He gave us ample time at each stop and was a great driver. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to embark on a south coast adventure.
