There is also a bathroom after you enter the Colosseum, good idea to stop there first (the line was long but it moved fast), especially if touring with kids.
Plus, just to skip the lines and not have to wait was worth the price.
Highly recommend with kids , it was the only tour we took that they talked about afterwards!

A great tour, our guide Martina was amazing and tailored the tour to engaged the children expertly. We left the tour with a huge amount of knowledge of the history of the Colessium. The final part of the tour, around the Forum was very interest too.

Fantastic experience. Would thoroughly recommend for families with young children. Over a few hours Martina brought the Colosseum to life- transporting us back 2,000 years to learn through fantastic stories expertly told about its construction and how it would have looked and felt. 5 star from us!!

As a big Birthday celebration, I asked my husband his biggest wish, and it was to experience the Colosseum. We decided to to a private tour in order to get the best experience possible. Repeatedly in the tour, my husband and I looked at each other and said “100% worth every Euro!!” DONATO WAS AMAZING!! He kept us - parents - and two kids (6yo and 9yo) entertained and joyfully educated the entire way!! Our kids were spoiled silly by this experience and on an unguided tour of another Rome attraction they said “We wish Donato was here with us.” ❤️ Grazie! Grazie! Grazie! For such a delightful morning!!

Me and my family went on this tour, and it was the highlight of our trip. Our guide Marco was an excellent guide who was engaging, nice, and funny. He used the examples that our kids could relate with and make interpretations from history such as the Percy Jackson series. Marco made us all feel comfortable and provided a unforgettable experience. He made the kids play against parents for an ancient Roman history quiz - and just as expected the parents lost. Additionally, he was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. Marco was fully prepared from the coins at Julius Cesar memorial to souvenirs for the winners (and parents). At the end of the tour, he gave us unbiased local food recommendations. We all really enjoyed the tour. 11/10, would definitely do again.

Sometimes history can be a bit overwhelming for kids, but this was the perfect way to experience the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Our guide brought everything to life with a fun game that kept the kids engaged, great stories and a ton of knowledge. She was also very efficient at navigating the crowds so we were able to get great pictures and experience as much as possible. Definitely recommend!

Our guide Maryanna was excellent. She made our children really engage with the story of Rome. Our kids are 9, 7 and 5. She pointed out really interesting facts at all the key stages of the tour and made sure to keep the kids engaged at all times (including a very welcomed game of “the floor is lava”. Our boys all wanted to give her 10 out of 5!!! At the end she recommended the best Gelato place in Rome (as we have just experienced)!!!

Was great!!!!! The guide was excellent and take into account that our kid was 9 years old. If you want to stay longer in the Forum you can but then choose one of the tours in the morning. The forum closes around 18:00.
