Please note that for safety reasons the Coliseum can accommodate up to 3.000 people at once.This could lead to delays in access to the site, even for pre-booked visitors. For security reasons all visitors and their luggage shall be screened. To facilitate the security checks please insert any object (including mobile phone) in the bag/backpack or in the tray to be included in the X-ray.
Children discount is applied only with a a valid ID card.

Please note that you can not get to the Colosseum with large bags / backpacks / suitcases. It is possible to bring only small bags.

This was the third time I've been to the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, Largo Argentina, and beyond. The pre-tour video was so important to help me imagine the grandeur of the sites we were about to see, and our guide was exceptionally well-informed with tons of details to regale us. My only complaint is that the tour was very, very long. It was scheduled for three hours (beginning at 9:00), but we toured for nearly four hours and, at the end, we were dragging. The heat certainly contributed to this languishing, as you can imagine since it's been so very hot these past two weeks. But, absolutely no complaints about what I learned! Thank you!

Rushed, lost guide

I would absolutely not recommend. We were running like chickens with our heads cut off trying to follow the guide. We eventually lost her completely and just left. She was so far ahead running through the crowds we lost connection on our ear pieces. Skip this tour and go through another company.

Excellent surprise

The tour was excellent for the price. My original tour which cost more was cancelled the day before and I scrambled to replace the tour. The tour guide was excellent, the logistics were great and the guide went out of her way to find shade on a scorching June day. Esther, the tour guide, was knowledgeable and explained the tour in the way that my 3 almost adults (18 and 20) enjoyed the tour.

Good comprehensive program

Did good job on covering Forum & Colosseum. Only issue was groups starts @ Tourist office, then walks past Forum because of ‘timed’ entrance to Colosseum then back to Forum. Also, if you have any mobility issues, request elevator @ Colosseum.
