Near public transportation
A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements.

At least 4 people are required for the guided tour option to take place.
Check-in is 15 minutes prior to the booked start time. Tickets are time sensitive and we cannot accomodate late arrivals.
Entrance into St. Peter's Basilica is separate from the Vatican Museums and is not always available. When available, and only for guided tour options, you will be given the option to benefit from Skip the Line Access to St. Peter's Basilica at no extra cost. Entrance to the Basilica is free and does not require a ticket.
Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Robert ,our tour guide , was great. He made sure to speak loudly for everyone and was more informative on the details than I think others may have been. He was diligent on making sure our party was accounted for. After the tour, he even helped one family member get back to our near starting point as she had to leave

Our tour started at 10:15 Best part was easy quick access to the museum and basilica and knowledge of our guide. The 2.5 hrs actually spent in the museum barely covered the highlights. The crowds were very large on the day (Saturday) we visited. Moved too quickly thru the area to really be able to appreciate the enormous art collection and the architecture. Might have been better spending more time with an audio visual aid as early as possible in the day to possibly avoid the large crowds.

This was our first visit to Vatican City and the museum. It was particularly crowded but the tour did a great job of locating and assembling the group. Then they navigated us through the maze of security and entrance effortlessly. The museum is complex and difficult. But our guide, the erudite Frank, was a masterful concierge to the ideas, conflicts, myths and realities that confront you in this massive collection. We particularly enjoyed his scholarly discussion of “the golden ratio” as well as the convening of ideas and science as represented by Plato and Aristotle in the Raffael stanzi. He spent a lot of time discussing the Sistine ceiling in a way that made us appreciate the experience more then we would have. For reasons largely out of anyone’s control the tour ran about an hour longer than planned. But the guide and the company were professional and gave a colorful and sometimes challenging treatment. It was a unique and special experience.

This was the perfect tour for me. Laura made this so interesting (thank you, Laura!!). She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about art history, and gave just the perfect amount of information for this length of tour. We were even able to go out the alternate exit from the Sistine chapel into St. Peter’s Square, which made seeing the cathedral very easy. As others have said, this is a fast-paced tour but perfect if you want the highlights.
