  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements.
  • While the Vatican Museums are equipped with elevators for wheelchair access, they are not conveniently located on the group tour route and only give access to specific sections of the Museums. As a result, we cannot accommodate wheelchairs on this tour.

Of the three tours that we took, this was the only one that wasn’t great. The small group worked well, but the audio equipment was poor- difficult to hear and understand the guide. The guide was only average- not particularly informative or engaging.

We took the 3 hour tour of the Vatican museum, Sistine chapel, and St. Paul’s cathedral with our tour guide, Elaine. The tour was so much better than trying to see all of it on our own or use an audio guide. Elaine was knowledgeable, funny, and gave us some in depth history to some topics without overwhelming us with information. She gave us information unlikely to be heard with another tour guide and was an expert on all things Italy and Vatican. Additionally, our group size was only 10 people so we felt a personal connection to Elaine through the entire tour. I would recommend this tour to everyone and would happily do it again to learn more each time. Elaine’s unique depth of knowledge, experience, and wit provided the absolute best tour possible. So much so, that other groups kept listening in to what she was saying as it was all very captivating. This is one of the best tour companies we’ve used, and make sure to ask for Elaine.

Eugene our tour guide who in a short time became the groups friend … not only incredibly knowledgeable but kind and caring … as my aunt had a bad leg and he sure helped and didn’t rush us . From the initial “hello” to the final “goodbye” this tour company treated its guests with friendliness and professionalism. Eugene, our guide, was very engaging and full of knowledge and enthusiasm. This was our most important tour in Rome and it was easily our best tour.

There are so many to mention. But the bath the size of a small car. Our tour guide Fredirica was so knowledgeable and explained so much more. The opulence of the entire place just floored me. One pope outdoing the other for stautus. The Sistine Chapel needs no words. It is a serene holy place.
