Rome via Segway

First time on a Segway. It was a great way to see Rome. Our guide Ahmad was very knowledgeable. Also a good / quick Segway teacher. Would recommend this tour. We covered a lot of ground. Did this tour our first day. It gave us a good idea of the lay of Rome.

Wonderful way to see the historical center

We had just a short time available to visit Rome and wanted to see as much as possible (my wife and I had never been there). My wife's cousin, who lives in Rome, joined us. Just when we were supposed to start the tour, a big thunderstorm started. Our guide was flexible and we went to get a coffee until the rain stopped. After a short orientation in the piaza, we headed out. We roamed all over the historical district and up and down beautiful little alleyways that we would have never found on our own. We stopped at several different monuments and churches for a closer look. Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun. The tour ended with us crossing the river to watch the sun set behind the Vatican, magical! Highly recommended!!
