We did this private tour as im in a wheelchair and this made our trip easy and enjoyable. Our driver was prompt and friendly. Hadrians villa was amazing and so too was Villa d'este. I would recommend it !

The rating is based on unmet expectations not the service provided. Our understanding from the description was that we were buying a driver and guide for our tour of Villa d'Este and Hadrian's Villa. Instead we received a private driver who spoke limited English and was not a tour guide in any real sense. He did not seem to understand that the trip included Hadrian's Villa and it took 10 minutes with the language barrier to organize the day. As a private driver only, we would rate Mauro 4 or 5 stars. The car was comfortable, he was prompt, courteous, and as helpful as he could be. However, as a guided tour it was a 2-3 star experience. Although we enjoyed the day we suspect our overall experience would have been improved by local knowledge and insight from the guide we were expecting as part of the tour package.
