    You'll meet your guide at the exit of the Colosseum METRO line, LINE B, bottom floor. Look for a JOY OF ROME sign in front of the newstand. Please be there 10 minutes ahead of time, we cannot accomodate late arrivals. The meeting point is at the newsstand right outside the Metro Station Colosseum (line B, Blu). Your guide will be there with a JOY OF ROME sign 10 minutes before the starting time. • TAXI: tell the driver to leave you at Largo Gaetana Agnesi (it is a small terrace above the metro station "Colosseum"), enter the metro station (look for the red sign with a big "M"), use the escalator to go downstairs, leave the metro station and find the newsstand on the right. • METRO: take the B-line (blu color) and get off at the metro station "Colosseo". Leave the metro station and find the newsstand on the right.

  • This tour is not available on first Sunday of the month, Jan 1st and 6th, May 1st, June 2 and 29, Aug 15, Nov 1st, Dec 8, 25 and 24,

Our tour guide, Adrianna, was a delightful person! She brought all kinds of pictures and maps so we could see how things used to look, and she was very informative and enthused about the subject matter.

Serena was awesome in keeping my daughters engaged. She is super knowledgeable about Rome and we had lot of fun. She was also great in providing us suggestions on where to eat. We went to that awesome gelato place as well. All in all, great experience with her.

This was our granddaughter's favorite tour of our 10-day trip to Venice, Rome and Pompeii. Francesca, our private guide, was delightful and made it very fun and interesting. She told the history in a very engaging way for an 11-year-old and was able to make a lot of the information come alive.

Francesca was a wonderful guide, very engaging and knowledgeable. She kept our two children, 10 and 14, engaged throughout the whole tour, really bringing to life the Colosseum of old. We booked at 4.30pm and it was a good time to go when it was a bit cooler and less crowded and the light was lovely for photos. I would highly recommend.
