Our guide was excellent....

Our guide was excellent. However the coliseum was very crowded and our group was large. It was often difficult to see the things he was referring to or pointing at. Especially when you're 5 ft 4.

Amazing tour with Evis
Kirk_S, Jan 2023
We did not intend to book a tour but the public tickets were sold out so we grabbed this based on the reviews to ensure we could visit the Colosseum during our visit. What a great decision that was in the end. Evis was an amazing, highly knowledgeable and extremely friendly guide. Her insights and commentary throughout the visit (including the fascinating and very complex Palatine Hill/Forum area) were simply invaluable. Highly recommend!

Colosseum and Roman Forum
Avni_D, Dec 2022
The Colosseum and Roman Forum area is absolutely amazing and everyone visiting Rome should definitely make sure they visit this. However, having already visited this area with a guide in the past, I preferred my previous visit as the information was more chronological in history rather than the way the guide talked through the areas this time around. It felt haphazard when you moved from one era to another and after the 3 hours we felt it was all jumbled up in our heads rather than feeling like we'd actually learnt something.
Skip the line and let me go

Being inside the coliseum. I prefer to spend more time working around as opposed to listening to lengthy talks.

George was simply great. Very knowledgeable, thorough and very patient the entire time. Totally recommend it.
A must in Rome!
Dee_G, Dec 2022
We had a great time, our tour guide Sam was very well informed and we covered a lot of information in what is contextually a small amount of time. Touring both the Colosseum and Palatine Hill gives you a more extensive overview of Rome's ancient history, and this is experience is totally enhanced with a knowledgeable tour guide! We highly recommend it.
Stefanie_K, Dec 2022

We had a great morning with our guide Francesco. Very detailed and he had a great deal of knowledge that he passed to us. Couldn’t recommend enough
Great, but not wheelchair/stroller friendly
Rhejass_W, Nov 2022
The trip was overall good, and the host was friendly and helpful. However the tickets were purchased for two adults and one infant. The tour is not wheelchair/stroller friendly. We had to carry the baby and stroller through Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum. In hindsight, you I can’t expect too many ramps going through ancient ruins, as a tourist it wasn’t the first thing on my mind since the option was offered.
Best tour guide
Naffie_T, Nov 2022
This was really a great experience for my son. He had learned about Roman history in school so this just brought the pieces together for him. Our tour guide did an excellent job explaining the history and keeping the kids excited. He even showed us where to get food in the city. Really the best tour guide I’ve had for my whole trip.

Colosseum as it should still be
David_O, Nov 2022
Our guide was very good explaining the history of the coliseum without being overly maudlin. It is sad to see such a great creation destroyed for scrap.
Super tour

Eviss was an excellent and knowledgeable guide who brought to life the coliseum and surrounding Ancient Rome to life. Grazie Mille.
