The best way to see the Vatican

Great tour, and the best way to see inside the Vatican City. Well with the money. Our fantastic, knowledgeable guide Shak explained the history of the Vatican State, St. Peter's Basilica, and the art within, in a gripping and engaging way. She also shared some personal tips re. good views around the city/where to get some good food after the tour! From a practical point of view, this tour took away the organisational headache of tickets, queues, route finding, etc. and allowed me to relax and enjoy the information and experience. I think visiting the Vatican without a guide would have been difficult, but thanks to Shak I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I highly recommend this!

The skip-the-line part of the tour is essential. We went off season and the queue was almost 2 hours without this! The Vatican museum part of the tour will be busy. Our guide got us through the crowds and made sure we saw the most in the museum. The Basilica was were the tour guide could really show their stuff as it was much less crowded and we could take more time to see everything.

The tour in general was good and the tour guide cared about the location and the topic. I think the schedule of the tour can be improved. We stayed too long in some parts and went by to fast at others.

Insanely crowded, which is to be expected here. But trying to follow along with a tour guide who was talking into your earpiece/radio while moving along with a large group was just too much.

Great tour! So much to see and learn. I don’t think I would have made it through the longer tour but I would love to do another 3 hr tour. We had a wonderful guide who gave us a lot of information and stories.

A perfect 3 hours for my family with small children to get a quick tour of the Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s. Our tour guide, Felipo, was great. He helped us navigate through some unforeseen issues with the day. Would absolutely recommend to anyone with small children who just want a quicker tour.

To jump the ridiculous queue is a must, strongly advise this. We were lucky to have Lucia for our guide, her English was very good, clear with a good sense of humour too. Knowledge was impeccable, answered all questions with detailed answers. To see such beauty with your own eyes was a privilege. Definitely try to do the early tour if you can.
Great way to get an overview of the vatican

Had a great time with Phillipo. He was very knowledgeable and helping and kept everyone well together. I highly recommend getting a guided your of the Vatican as the amount of stuff to see can be overwhelming. Even with 3 hours it felt like we barely scratched the surface. I would like to go back and look at some of the art for a bit longer but understand why with the time limit Philippi had to keep us moving.

I think the tour was cut short & although told they couldn't come into the basicalla for the Vatican a lot of others had tour guides so I'm a bit skeptical of why they couldn't still but other than that the information at times felt a bit lackluster. It wasn't bad but it tfelt a lot of information was thought up on the spot but that could've been down to the guide already doing one prior to us by 2 hours.

I would highly recommend this tour. We booked the early tour on Saturday 18th of March and could not have asked for more. Our tour started early because all participants arrived early and we were thrilled to get going early. Our tour guide was absolutely fantastic. She was so knowledgeable and approachable. She gave us lots of information and sprinkled lots of humour throughout our time together. We were able to skip all the long queues and had lots of time to see everything with the guidance of our tour guide. The headsets worked really well and we could clearly make out what our tour guide was telling us. All in all, a fantastic experience and I would recommend this to everyone. Thank you again for a fantastic tour
