When booking for children under 18 years, a government-issued ID/passport will be required when entering the monument. Failure to bring an ID can result in the security staff refusing you entrance to the monument.

Refunds will not be provided for no-shows or late arrivals. If you are late to arrive at the meeting point, you will not be able to join your tour.
Tours will run rain or shine (unless the monument is closed by the officials for safety reasons)
The tour itinerary can start with either the Colosseum or the Palatine Hill/Roman.
The meeting time can be subject to change. In this case, we will call/text you in advance to let you know.
There are mandatory security checks at all entry points to the sites. The time spent in the security line varies and this line cannot be ‘skipped.’ The wait time for the security check can be considerable during peak times/seasons and has nothing to do with the ticket line.

Excellent Tour

We booked the morning tour, admit it was very hot but our guide made sure to seek out shady spots to explain the ancient ruins and give pictures of how life was before, and plenty of water fountain breaks. We didn't have a lot of time but this covered everything for us and you end at the colosseum and can explore as much as you like on your own after. Our guide, Luca, was awesome, he was extremely knowledgeable and cheerful. His english was clear and easy to understand. A must do when in Rome!

The people at the agency were very nice. We took the 2PM tour which started around 2:30 by the time everything was organized. The skip the line option was good but still had to wait about 15 min for security. I would have liked the tour to spend more time in each site. The forum, our last stop closes at 4:30PM.

Booking a guided tour is the way to go. Meeting my group was easy, and everyone from the tour company Show Me Italy was really friendly. Their guides leading my tours of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum & Palatine Hill were so knowledgeable and entertaining. Saving a lot of time avoiding long queues is worth something in itself, and that time was spent soaking up some fascinating information. I also got some details for tours of other sites which I can book. These iconic sites can be busy, crowded and a bit exhausting, but a tour made it easier and brought some extra magic...I had fun!!
