Find your way to the cruise's departure point in Old Sacramento at the L Street Dock at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Multiple departure times are available to suit your schedule, please choose tour time at checkout.

Step aboard the Hornblower yacht and find the perfect seat for the hour-long cruise down the Sacramento River. Listen to your captain's narration as you pass landmarks such as Delta King, the I Street Bridge, the Tower Bridge, and the Air Force Docks. Hear stories about the Gold Rush, the Pony Express, and the Sacramento founder John Sutter.

A Great Time in Sacramento!

We were enjoying this cruise as part of our 28th anniversary trip! Capt. Jack gave us a shout out and we received a round of applause and cheers from fellow passengers! A crew member took our photo… we learned a bit of Sacramento River history as well as enjoyed Our captain’s entertaining delivery, including his silly pirate jokes! A fun way to spend an hour enjoying a cocktail and cool breezes!

Lovely river cruise

I really enjoyed this 1 hour river cruise up the Sacramanto River and back. While I wouldn't describe it as 'historic' I would definitely say it is informative. The boat goes at the right speed to get a fair way upriver, but still making it possible to snap some photos. There is a bar onboard offering various refreshments and snacks.
