Maria was the best! My friend and i were lucky enough to have her as our tour guide on a beautiful afternoon with just us 3. Maria knows her stuff! We got a great history lesson and she also told us about local spots to check out! 100% would recommend!

I cannot actually give a review, as our guide was in a different location than what was emailed and texted to me. I contacted the app and phone number given, well before our tour left, with ample time to make it to the meeting place, and the guide was no where to be found.

Thanks for giving me an opportunity to share another pro tip with travelers. Pro Tip: Don’t fabricate your reviews. It’s hurts small businesses. If you are late to the tour, just call the company- we all have office staff answering phones and emails who can direct you on the tour or offer an alternative. There were 30 other people who were standing outside waiting, and they found the guide easily (the tour doesn’t even move from the starting location for 10 minutes). Next time call the company if you are going to be late - they can’t help you if they don’t know, and every company would want to help.

Our experience would had been amazing, if our tour guide did their job to make sure everyone was in the group. Yes I understand it was a couple of days before Halloween and Salem it self was packed, but we lost our tour guide 3x in the first 30 minutes of the tour and after the last time we could not find her anywhere and we gave up. She didn’t have a flag or anything, and we didn’t have any way of reaching out to her to know where she was at. She was a very funny and informative lady, and we would had enjoyed the tour if we were there the whole time. But we lost her and she was nowhere to be found or reached. And we paid money for this tour and it sucks we weren’t even able to enjoy or see Salem the way we wanted too.

It's unfortunate that you didn't reach out to us at all--we could have connected you with your guide instantly or offered you seats in another tour that day.

Bad experience

I didn't attend this tour, and Viator would not let me cancel, because of a bad experience on another of their tours where the guide just left a number of us and they refused a partial refund. The gide didn't even have a microphone. Very unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend this company.

This is an opportunity to share a tip with potential future guests. Pro Tip: When writing a review, it is crucial to make sure it is for the correct business. So many tour companies have similar names for their tours and/or companies, it is very easy to get this confused and almost impossible to remove once it's posted.
