      Our guide Aurelia was very knowledgeable and friendly. Learned a lot of history of Salem. Visited some of the perks of the old town. Loved the architecture.

      I learned a lot about The history of Salem but it was kind of ruined by the employees and owners of this particular tour. At the very beginning the owner of the company told the tour guide he needs to turn up his microphone because the people in the back couldn’t hear him. He was very agitated by this and it showed. It was very awkward. Then he turned off his mic and tried just talking louder but the people in the back still couldn’t hear him and were very frustrated. While the tour moved to its first stop the manager called out to the tour guide and told him once again that he needed to turn the microphone up but she yelled it and kind of embarrassed him. To the point that a guest of the tour asked the owner to leave the employee alone. Then the guest and owner got into it. It was very cringy. As we moved to the next stop we all noticed the guest that couldn’t hear him in the first place actually left the tour. The tour guide then asked us if he did anything wrong in all of our opinions which was super unnecessary. The actual tour was great and very informative and the tour guide was great. His only issue was telling all of us that he just text his boss that he quit so we’re his last tour, that he has his own dog walking business so he doesn’t need this, that this boss is known for retaliation, and kept asking us to write reviews of his tour and mention how rude and embarrassing his boss Beth was. He brought it up at a few stops before getting back to the actual tour. Super cringy experience and I won’t book with this same vendor again!

      This two hour tour was really informational and fun at the same time. Our guide Rebecca was amazing! She was punctual, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. I highly recommend this tour, and if you’re lucky enough to get Rebecca as your guide, you’re guaranteed to have a great time.

      I’m very glad we booked a tour of Salem because otherwise we would’ve been in and out of the town within an hour. We didn’t realize how tiny the town is. The tour itself was good.. our guide walked us though the town and showed us some buildings from movies and tv shows, showed a couple of historic buildings and told a few stories. The tour is getting 3/5 stars because she started to tell a few stories and then said she’d finish them later but never did. Her storytelling seemed a bit flat as well. She wasn’t really entertaining and gave us a middle school teacher vibe. Constantly repeating herself and such. Also, after the tour, we looked up a couple of the stories that she had mentioned and we found out that she had told us incorrect facts.

      Interesting and fun. 2 hours passed really quickly. I recommend a nighttime tour for maximum spookiness. But we will be coming back during the daytime for a better look.

      Loved this tour! We had an amazing tour guide Ryan which made it even better. He brought us to all the famous locations in Salem and was very informative on those places. I would definitely recommend going on this tour if it’s your first time.

      Great 2 hour walking tour to the major historical sites in Salem. Our guide was fantastic and she had a lot of interesting information about the entire history of Salem, not just the witch trials. We took this tour first and it gave us a great feel of the town before we went around on our own.

      Violet was great, we eventually realized we booked a history tour more than a ghost tour about halfway through. Violet still tried to incorporate a little spooky stuff to make it better. Make sure your actually booking a scary tour not a history tour.

      A worthwhile trip through Salem history

      We enjoyed the area where the ship captains and merchants built both Colonial and Federal style homes. Understanding the period where accused witches were arrested and many killed was sobering.
