Select one of four types of boats when booking: groups of up to six people can travel by open wooden boat, up to 8 people in a speedboat with shaded seating, up to 10 people in a luxury speedboat, and groups of up to 30 people can be accommodated in a comfortable large boat.

The itinerary is up to you, but a classic tour leaves from Salerno to a series of picturesque villages, including Vietri sul Mare, Cetara, Maiori, Minori, and Ravello, which commands sweeping views of the Gulf of Salerno.

You’ll see the town of Amalfi and the Conca dei Marini, then pass a bridge that’s popular with high divers. Continue along towering limestone cliffs dotted with colorful villas, then turn back towards Salerno, where this tour concludes at the original departure point.

Your day begins by meeting your boat and captain at the Salerno tourist port near Piazza della Concordia and the lungomare (waterfront) of Salerno.

Exclusive Cruises (Pass By)

Exclusive Cruises will be your hosts for the day for a private 6-hour boat excursion along the Amalfi Coast from Salerno. This is a private boat tour that can be fully customized to your interests. Below is only a suggested itinerary with a selection of highlights from the day that you can experience. Note: Sights are marked "Pass By" simply because you can decide to spend as much or as little time as you would like. Exclusive Cruises will help you plan a relaxed tour custom fit to your travel desires. Here are some highlights of the experience and sights you will enjoy: - Meet your captain at the tourist port in Salerno and set off along the beautiful Amalfi Coast, one of the most sought-after holiday destinations in Europe. - Upon leaving Salerno pass the village Vietri sul Mare, “The first pearl of Amalfi,” because it is where the Amalfi Coast and Amalfi drive begin. - Following Vietri lies the fishing village Cetara, renowned for its production of anchovies. - Continue past Maiori and Minori, two neighboring villages sitting on the sea. Maiori is much larger than Minori and has a large “Lungomare”, a street parallel to the long beach. Maiori also features a hidden cave known as “Pandora’s Grotto”, only accessible by the sea. - Cruise past the town of Amalfi, arguably the most popular destination for tourists on the coast. Here lies the cathedral dedicated to St. Andrew, a 9th century Roman Catholic structure.  - Take in the sights of Conca dei Marini, voted in the top 100 most beautiful villages in Italy. A notable sight is the Lover’s Arch, a natural formation of limestone. “Conca” is also home to the Emerald Grotto, a green cave with an underwater nativity scene. This village features several quaint beach-side restaurants where you can taste some of the best seafood in the area. - After Conca dei Marini, get your camera ready as the Fiordo di Furore is next with a bridge positioned 30 meters above the water.  - Next lies Praiano, built on two sides of a cliff. Next to Praiano rests one of the most photographed destinations in all of Italy, Positano, a vertical village sprinkled with colorful villas sprawling up the mountainside.  Notable attractions in Positano include the Collegiata di Santa Maria Assunta, a historic church with a vast dome created in the 1920s. - The day will wrap up back at the Piazza della Concordia where you originally embarked, unless otherwise indicated.

Perfect day on the Amalfi Coast
Lara_H, Nov 2022
This may end up being the best your my family did while in Italy……but the trip is still ongoing. Francesco is and AMAZING skipper and guide. I would HIGHLY suggest requesting Francesco to make your adventure that much more worth your while. We had the 40 ft speed boat for the purpose of a smoother ride…..and it was! No chop! The seas were calm and the weather perfect for early Nov. To see the Amalfi Coast from the vantage point of the water was spectacular! I have driven the coast, in the past, but to truly see the landscape and the buildings/houses/churches from the water is the way to go.
