What To Expect

Meet your skipper at the Positano port and hop aboard your boat with your small group. Sit back and relax as you take off along the water, passing white sand beaches, dramatic cliffs, and scenic fishing villages.

Travel through the sparkling waters of Conca dei Marini and opt to stop at the Emerald Grotto (own expense), a famous sea cave where stalactites hang from the ceiling, stalagmites sprout from the cave floor and the waters give off a rare green hue.

Glide by the whitewashed houses of Praiano, a fishing village set into the cliffs. Continue past the Furore fjord, turning into a narrow cove not accessible by land. Pause for a refreshing swim inside the hidden caves and dip into a cascade of fresh spring water.

Afterward, dock in Amalfi to spend a few hours exploring independently. Relax with a fresh seafood lunch at your own expense, before checking out the 11th-century cathedral, the bustling harbor or the local shops. As an alternative to Amalfi, take the bus up to the resort town of Ravello for spectacular views of the coast below.

After sightseeing at your leisure, reunite with your group on the boat. If time allows, continue past Maiori for one last swim in a secluded cave.

Your full-day cruise concludes back at your original departure point.

The best part was the boat and swimming in the ocean! The actual town of Amalfi was ok. I would recommend enjoying the beach instead of exploring the town. Positano has better restaurants and shops

What a day! Absolute must do. Although the weather was not great, we had a lovely trip to Amalfi with an excellent and knowledgeable skipper. We spent 1.5 hours in Amalfi and were driven to our own beach club for lunch. Spent the trip back having a few drinks and a swim overlooking Positano. We had so much fun and met some lovely people. Could not recommend enough!

Absolutely fabulous experience! An absolute must to experience the sights from the water. We enjoyed seeing the fjord de furore, the emerald grotto, a stop in Amalfi and then a delicious lunch at a restaurant accessible only by boat. Our captain Fiorenzo was wonderful- not only did he share interesting facts and sights but also took us to multiple places for swimming, and was warm, engaging, and really fun!

Best way to enjoy the amalfi coast is by boat! We had a great time - the waves were a bit choppy so emerald grotto was closed, but we loved the small group (had 9 on our trip).

Our boat driver Saulo was amazing! He made the ride fun, we stop 4 times for swimming, 3 hrs free on amalfie town and we went to visit the emerald grotto ( it was 8€ Not 7) we were 11 persons so really private and really memorable, I would recommend it for sure!

We had an amazing day with a great group of people. Our boat captain and his son were wonderful and made every effort to ensure we enjoyed everything. I highly recommend it. If you are looking for a day in the water, this your is not what you're looking for. More sightseeing along the coast with a few quick swim breaks and time in Amalfi. It was over 100 degrees the day of our tour, so we couldn't get in the water fast enough. Our guide was very accommodating.

Great time on the Amalfi Coast! We started in Positano and left mid morning. We then went by boat to Amalfi. Our guide pointed out different hotels and landmarks as we went there. After arriving in Amalfi we were give free time to explore the city and grab lunch. This was a great time to grab souvenirs as there are lots of great leather shops around if you wanted to buy bags, belts, etc. Amalfi also has a beautiful cathedral we were able to go to. On the way back to Positano we were able to have some drinks and swim - although the water was a little chilly! Overall wonderful, fun day!

This was, by far, worth every penny! From the boat itself, to our interactions with the captain and other passengers, everything was fantastic! Sandro (our captain)told us everything you’d like to know about things on the coast line! Our day was perfect! (We were given the option to do 3 hours in amalfi or 1 hour in amalfi and then go to a coastal restaurant for lunch, only access able by boat. We chose 3 hours in amalfi and although it was lovely and had tons of tourist things, we kind of wish we had tried the restaurant for lunch!) Could not recommend this excursion enough!

We had an amazing time, Sandro was the best guide and was really accomodating and friendly. Lots of information as we went down the coast and let us completely control what we wanted to do individually , with options to stay in amalfi tor 3 hours or 1 hour and go to a restaurant only accessible by boat. He made the experience even better, the scenery was beautiful and it was well worth the trip. Would definitely recommend, thanks Sandro!!

This was awesome! The weather forecast was not good the day we scheduled but the they accommodated our schedule and made sure we were still able to get a boat tour. I heard a lot of people say you cannot go to the Amalfi coast without doing a boat tour, and they were right! The views are unbelievable and it’s a must! Highly recommended this tour. It was about 3 1/2 hours and we had some time in amalfi city.
