We loved our day with Laurence

Traveling with my adult children (24 & 22). Both wanted to see Stonehenge. I found this tour, & we were all happy I did. Laurence took us to so many interesting places & explained them so well. My 22 year old does not enjoy history. He did that day, he's been telling all his friends what he learned & saw. My 24 year old LOVES history & geology & she could have spent weeks with Laurence, he had so much knowledge to share. He really did it in such a relatable way, not enough positive words to describe our day with him. Without this tour we would have seen Stonehenge, but all the other locations like Avebury stone circles, wooden formations, white horse carving in the hillside, the adorable cafe for lunch, the Salisbury Cathedral, the Magna Carta and more, we would have missed. We all learned a lot & had so much fun. My kids kept joking as we went around London, if we had Laurence with us maybe we would understand more about the interesting things we were seeing in the city. Fabulous experience, I highly recommend!

This was an amazing tour. Worth every penny! Laurence our guide was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable about history and archeology. His explanations made the stones and ditches come alive. We could really appreciate how sophisticated humans were thousands of years ago. Very humbling! Highly recommend doing this private tour with Laurence!

Prehistoric Wiltshire in the winter

We had a great visit to Stonehenge, Avebury, the Wiltshire museum and the West Kennet chamber tomb guided by Laurence who was very knowledgeable and well informed about all the places we visited. He picked us up at our hotel, did not hesitate to find solutions when the rain pelted down (in February), and came prepared with wellies and a car seat. Needless to say, he was also friendly, patient with my boys, adapted the trip as necessary due to roadworks and high water, and made our outing a memorable one. I highly recommend the experience!!

Pouring rain and loving it

Laurence was absolutely wonderful. Taking this tour was the highlight of our entire trip to England and Paris. He was fully prepared with wellington boots for us to use to cross a little river to see a burial mound, he had a couple extra ponchos and jackets for us to use. The two weeks we were on this trip we had wonderful weather... but that day with Laurence it poured and was super windy. 3 out of 4 umbrellas were torn to pieces from the weather.... but we still went walking around all the Avebury stones and around Stonehenge. We were soaked. And he was lovely to my niece and nephew on the trip. I have family that planes on going to England soon and would recommend Laurence in a sec.
