Make your own way to the San Antonio Visitor Center to pick up your 48-hour hop-on hop-off bus tour ticket.

Proceed to the Alamo Plaza, board the double-decker bus and take in unobstructed views of the Alamo. From there, cruise by top attractions in the city, stopping to explore at any of the stops along the route. Buses run regularly, and your driver-guide provides informative onboard commentary about the city and its sights.

During booking in late afternoon there was no warning we had to pick up the tickets in the Alamo location and closure at 5.30. This resulted for us we only had half a day left on 48 hour tickets.
