We pick up from hotels around downtown San Antonio, approximately 1 square mile from the Alamo. If we are unable to pick you up from your hotel, we are happy to meet with you at City of San Antonio Visitor's Center across from Alamo Plaza.

We were able to see the missions of San Antonio.. Luis had wonderful information to share. It was great that we did not have to worry about getting to the places or deal with parking.

Very good experience. The best part was the visit to the Concepcion Mission. We could not go into the San Jose church because there was a funeral service. Instead we saw a very good movie. After that the guide gave a brief talk. We could have walked closer to the building to admire the structure closer but the guide did not think of that.

This is a great way to experience the broader history of the San Antonio area and to understand how the area was settled, developed and defended during the 18th and 19th centuries. Note, although this tour does visit 3 missions, it does not include inside access to The Alamo (external view and narration only).

A clarification - As mentioned in our product description, the State of Texas bans commercial tour operators (like ourselves and all other private providers) from touring inside the Alamo church itself. We start and end the tour at Alamo Plaza with the historical context and significance necessary to appreciate the inside of the Alamo should our travelers choose to explore further.
