    What To Expect

    Your tour begins in the morning at Fisherman's Wharf, where you meet your guide for a drive around San Francisco. Over the course of the day, you get a look at the city's diverse neighborhoods and geography, stopping at several locations where you can hop off the bus to take photos and look around a bit.

    After your city tour, enjoy a walk through the massive redwood trees in Muir Woods.

    Then, head to the quaint town of Sausalito for lunch (own expense).

    Back in the city, you have the option to purchase your own Alcatraz ticket and board a ferry from Pier 33 for the ride across the bay to Alcatraz Island, home to the former prison of the same name. Enjoy the prison's fascinating audio tour as you explore the cellblock, and then return to Pier 33 on the ferry to end your day tour.

    Fisherman's Wharf (Pass By)

    One of San Francisco's most popular destinations - from beautiful old shipyards, to Boudin's Bakery and the smell of fresh clam chowder, and of course, the sea lions of Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf has it all.

    North Beach (Pass By)

    Voted as one of the USA's "ten great neighborhoods", North Beach is best known as the home of Little Italy. From delicious restaurants to authentic sidewalk cafes and bakeries, you will feel the charm of San Francisco as soon as you arrive.

    This is an amazing tour if you don’t have a lot of time in town.
    Highly recommend for anyone who wants to explore the city, especially if its a short trip, this tour packed a lot in, but didn't feel rushed.

    This was an excellent tour! Our tour guide Ro was very very informative! All the stops were wonderful it’s hard to pick one! Sausalito was such a cute little town. Would love to explore it more. And Alcatraz…wow! Super cool! We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this tour!

    I highly recommend this tour!! Our guide Ro was very knowledgeable and entertained with great stories!! We met fun people on the tour. Muir Woods is beyond beautiful and makes you appreciate the work that went in to preserve it! Alcatraz was quite interesting and thought provoking! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!!

    Muir Woods was great as was Alcatraz! Due to park opening time delay we did not go to Sausalito. The tour of San Francisco was mediocre.

You happened to arrive in San Francisco during a rainy, gloomy weekend. This caused Muir Woods to open 2 hours later than usual because of fallen trees and flooding the previous days.     Fantastic tour with Tony! Had a blast learning about the many popular neighborhoods in SF. Muir Woods was a beautiful eye-opener to the rich history of these ginormous trees. Sausalito was such a quaint little town by the bay. Lunch was exceptional while watching the locals bike and walk their dogs! Such a calming atmosphere! Alcatraz was quite an experience! Thoroughly enjoyed the history of this famous penitentiary including the ferry ride to & from the island.

    We had a great time! Ro was a great local guide! I would definitely recommend Dyan's tours! We got a good overview of the city, and everything was well timed! Lots of bathroom breaks, and so many great sights!

    We had 2 members of our party come down with COVID before the event. I messaged the vendor and did not hear back via the Viator app. Once I was finally able to get someone on the phone, they said it would be no problem to reschedule. We were instructed to email but I never heard back from the company. Even after several phone calls this was never resolved.
