Cycle through San Francisco and across the iconic Golden Gate Bridge on this guided bike tour. Led by a local guide, you’ll ride along the waterfront, passing Fisherman’s Wharf and the historic Presidio. Then admire the city skyline from the Golden Gate Bridge, with views of Alcatraz and the long stretch of the Pacific on the opposite side. Your tour will conclude in Sausalito or Tiburon, where you can explore before taking the ferry back to San Francisco. Your bike rental is valid for 24 hours to continue sightseeing on your own.

What To Expect

Your bike excursion will begin at Fisherman’s Wharf, where you’ll meet with your guide and receive a brief safety orientation. Your bike is equipped with a helmet, bell and lock, as well as storage racks and a city map with route recommendations.

Take off on a flat path past the Palace of Fine Arts and Crissy Field. Your guide will provide historical background for the sites and neighborhoods as you go, giving rich context to the scenery around you. Travel through the Presidio District, a park and former military base, before making your way to the Golden Gate Bridge.

Soak up the incredible scenery as you pedal across the city’s most prominent landmark. Enjoy the safety of a designated bike path as you look out on panoramic views of the Bay, Alcatraz Island and the sparkling Pacific Ocean on the opposite side of the bridge.

Conclude your tour with a downhill ride into the beloved town of Sausalito. Hop off your bike and explore the area at your own pace, grabbing lunch at a restaurant on the waterfront, perusing the boutiques and galleries or continuing your ride to Tiburon, another popular destination along the Bay.

Enjoy the option of biking back to San Francisco or taking the ferry from either Sausalito or Tiburon. Your bike rental is valid for 24 hours to give you plenty of time to explore.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Not a fan! Book a differ tour

Tour guide was a little obnoxious and kept leaving the group. I understand people didn’t want to rent e bikes but the tour guide didn’t care and left us behind. I wasn’t a fan of the tour. The scenery was beautiful but once we got to Sausalito the tour guide dropped us off at last stop and didn’t say anything else. He left on his bike and didn’t advise us the time of the ferry departures. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this tour. And for 100.00 it definitely wasn’t worth it. It felt rushed and not well put together.

I loved this tour so much. My fiancé and I truly enjoyed, especially with our tour guide CJ. He was very informative, cool and gave us some great places to check out to eat. Guide was super annoying. A combination of snarky and not funny. The five people on our tour agreed on one thing- never take another ride with Banji. Saulsalito was beautifu and we elected to dump the annoying guide.

CJ was an informative and passionate tour guide. The eBikes made this trip a breeze for these 55+ yr olds. It was exciting to bike across the Golden Gate Bridge despite Karl the fog making himself known. Lunch in Saulsolito was relaxing and the ferry back was a perfect end to the trip!

Intermediate Bike Tour (Hills are Real)

CJ was great. He warned us about the hills, and made sure that everyone knew they should go at their own pace. This is an intermediate level biking tour with three steep hills, and with the two way traffic on the bridge, and the headwinds on the Sausalito side, there were some tough moments, but CJ encouraged us at each step of the way. I enjoyed the complimentary bike parking and beer at The Joinery in Sausalito. We were treated very well. Funny thing: CJ kept apologizing about the fog. We knew he didn't cause it. ;)

Sister trip to visit my son who was interning in SF this summer

A Must Do in San Fran. I was with my son who is 20 and my sister and we all had a blast. Loved hearing about the history of the city and riding over the Golden Gate Bridge. We chose to ride back from Sausalito instead of taking the ferry or ubering and it did put us out of our comfort zone but so glad we did it.

Wow! What an experience for this old fat guy from Texas! I was very hesitant about riding an electric bike on a 16 mile round trip over the Golden Gate Bridge! The Blazing Saddles employees were very helpful on getting us lined up with the bikes and safety helmets. John, our tour guide, was excellent. The ride by the shoreline and over the Golden Gate Bridge was a once in a lifetime experience fir all three of us! Worth the time and the expense. 👍👍
