A great tour of Chinatown

Ginny was great! She took us all around and incorporated a food festival that happened to be occurring that day. She is very knowledgeable and I love that we happened to be her only 2 customers ao it made it very personal. Pickup was easy we met in an easy to find park that was easily accessible by public transportation. We walked around Chinatown and learning about the rich history and culture of the town and it's people. My only tip is wear comfy shoes you do a lot of walking!!

This experience was GREAT! Our guide Gimme was thoughtful and very considerate of the various needs of the group. She provided interesting and fun historical facts and we learned so much from her! We walked at a comfortable pace and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Our group included my family member plus two other people. Highly recommend this tour!

I loved the tour. Lola was an excellent tour guide. Her knowledge of the area was amazing having grown up there. I learned more than I expected on the tour. There was a variety of stops along the way. We stopped at the fortune cookie factory and got some free samples and purchased a bag of cookies. The tea shop was amazing and I also purchased some high quality tea. Make sure to also get the lunch option. The food was great and we were definitely full and satisfied by the end of the meal. I feel like I learned a lot about the history Chinatown and the people. I would definitely recommend this tour.

We took our daughter a small group of her friends on the tour for her 12th birthday. Lola was a great guide. She has an authentic understanding of the community and shared personal stories of growing up in Chinatown. Adults and kids alike had a blast.

The tour was exceptional. Lola our guide was fantastic, her knowledge of Chinatown was remarkable. Especially reminiscing about growing up there and showing us her old house. The fortune cookie factory and traditional pharmacy were very interesting also the history as we walked. The luncheon was delicious and well worth the extra cost, especially having a local to explain the dishes. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting San Francisco.

We did only the tour, not the hosted dim sum because we had our own plans for dim sum elsewhere. The tour guide was very informative and pretty entertaining. We got lots of information about Chinatown that we wouldn't have gotten had we just walked through on our own. The tea room tasting was one of the highlights on the tour.

Really enjoyed this tour. The guide had grown up in Chinatown so she had valuable information and insights. She took us into various food stores as well as into two temples. I would have liked a even more opportunity to see things not obvious to someone just walking down the streets. Did enjoy the lunch, with the guide telling about times she had eaten in that restaurant when she was a child.
