We will meet at the newspaper kiosk at the corner of Montgomery and Clay streets, right at the foot of the Transamerica Pyramid. The closest street address is 598 Clay Street. There is NO restroom break on the tour: the closest is at the bars High Horse or Barbarossa Lounge (both closed on Sundays).

We will end in Chinatown, 3.5 blocks away from where we began. Post-tour, we recommend a visit to the historic dive bar Li Po Lounge (a favorite of Anthony Bourdain's) for their deadly Chinese mai tais.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Creepy!

Great tour! We felt very creeped out at the end more due to the crazy person hollering on a dark street than the ghosts. I’m glad we were in a large group. Chinatown was beautiful at night. We loved the history we learned probably more than the ghost communications. Aliya and Rose were wonderful guides!

I’m from out of town and hearing some of the history about San Francisco was very intriguing. I also enjoyed the gadgets used along the tour for detecting the supernatural. This was a very entertaining tour and I would definitely recommend doing this.

What a fun October activity in the city! Emma was excellent and did a great job of showing us around, explaining the history of our many stops, and creating a spooky environment for our enjoyment. Even though Emma has been living in SF for half the time I have, she was extremely knowledgeable and taught me a lot about the dark past of the city. We loved getting to hunt for ghosts with our EMF detectors, and Emma even brought out some of her personal ghost hunting supplies which really added to the experience. I highly recommend this tour for spooky season!
