Tori was our tour guide and she was so knowledgeable and friendly. We had such a wonderful time. Our 12 and 16 year olds loved the experience just as much as my husband and I. Not only did Tori take us to the great foodie spots, she also gave us a history lesson on the Ferry Building and Farmers Market. Some of the treats we had: breads, cheeses, fresh seasonal fruit, and chocolate. Highly recommend this tour! Be sure to come hungry :)

So many wonderfully delicious places in the Ferry Building!! But I had to return to Acme Bread Company after the tour and purchase their Edible Schoolyard Loaf. On tour I tried a fabulous Apple Turnover and some of their Sour Baguette with Cowgirl Creamery Mt Tam and Red Hawk, The Impossible Burgers were delicious from Gott’s Roadside, definitely would eat again, Cholita Linda offered a fabulous Fish Taco! Rebecca Sibrack was a knowledgeable and fun tour guide, Thank You!

Great tour of the Ferry Building. Didn’t get to see the Farmers Market, because it is only on certain days, which we didn’t find out until the tour.
    Response from Host, Jan 2022
Thanks so much for joining us! While we weren't able to introduce you to the local farmer's, we hope you enjoyed all that the Ferry Building building had to offer.
    Best tour so far

Rebecca was amazing and awesome. She knew so much about the food industry. Highly recommend it. It was great because the ferry building was very little walking. So easy for people like me with a hip problem.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review and for joining us for our SF Ferry Building Tour. Rebecca is a gem for sure. We love sharing these experiences with our guests. We hope you'll join us again someday.
10 Year Wedding Anniversary Food Tour
    Lenny_W, Jul 2019
My wife and I went on the Ferry Building Food Tour while on our 10 year wedding anniversary trip to San Francisco. Our tour guide Travis was incredible! He was a former cheese monger at the Cowgirl Creamery (which is a stop on the tour) so he had a lot of personal experience and knowledge that he shared with us. The food was delicious and we were stuffed by the end of the tour. As an added bonus, he took us to the top floor so we could look down on all the shops. If you book this tour, hopefully you will be lucky enough to get Travis as your guide!
    Response from Host, Aug 2019
Thank you for spending your anniversary with us! We are so happy to hear you had a great experience with Travis ... he is a gem! Come back to see us next time you're back in SF.

We went as a family of 4 and absolutely loved it. Our tour guide was Tori, she is very knowledgeable both about food and the local history. Lots of great food to try, we certainly didn’t go home hungry. Would highly recommend to anyone!

I had a great experience on the Ferry Building food tour. Our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and also very entertaining. The food was incredible. There was a lot of it which was great. We were stuffed at the end of the tour. I went back to some of the stores/restaurants afterward to purchase items to bring home.

We thought that the food on this tour was fine, but the Ferry Plaza was so crowded and noisy on the day that we went, that we could barely hear what our tour guide was saying. The information on the tour was about the stores and the owners - which to be honest, wasn't very exciting or interesting to an out-of-towner. We would've rather heard about the history of the area we were in, or even the history of the food scene in San Francisco.

Very educational and enjoyed the incredible food. Went back later and bought some chili from Prather Ranch, bread from Acme, olive oils and some delicious jam for our Anniversary dinner at our room.

Quinn was the best guide. His interest and personal appreciation of each vendor made the tour such fun! There were only three of us on the tour so it was very low key and individualized. I would call this a don't miss if you have already seen the major tour stops.

ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT! Try to do this on a Saturday when all of the vendors are selling local products! By far our favorite tour and day in San Francisco!

we took a tour with Kelly, a chef, of the Ferry Building and the Saturday Farmers market today. only 5 other people were on the tour. Kelly showed us around the building with stops at her favorite shops including chocolate, cheese, meat, fruit and juice. we got free samples at each stop and chats with the proprietors. don't bother to eat breakfast before this tour! she also knows where the secret toilets are so as to avoid crowds. and she is passionate about local and organic and knows her stuff. highly recommended.
