Great adventure
Grace_K, Oct 2022
This is an outstanding adventure and highly recommend for anyone visiting SF with kids. Not only was it fun to do the scavenger hunt, Beth also gave us some great insight as a “tour guide”. She was so wonderful with my kids, 11 and 13. We enjoyed the fortune cooking stop and all the places she gave us history about in Chinatown. A must do!

Loved this tour--the history, the treats along the way. A great way to keep actively involved in the learning, too. Our teenagers loved teaming up against us, and we were blessed with perfect weather!

The knowledgeable and pleasant tour guide, Beth, and scavenger hunt elevated what could have been a typical tour
Chinwe_M, Aug 2021
Beth was such a lovely and very knowledgeable tour guide. She made us all feel comfortable and was excellent in engaging the kids (10 and 12 yr olds) and facilitating their participation throughout the scavenger hunt. The fortune cookie factory was a highlight of the trip, but also learning the rich history of Chinatown and Little Italy/ North Beach was priceless, a lot more than we would have been exposed to if we had ventured out on our own. The scavenger hunt elevated the tour and made it more fun than merely hearing the history. We walked a lot but did not even notice or get tired because we had so much fun. We highly recommended it. Thank you, Beth!

A lot of fun..! Both Educational and learned places and things we didn't previously know or had not been exposed to. Grandkids liked it immensely and could not quit talking about it to their parents and friends...
Scavenger hunt Chinatown to North Beach
aprylmurrayross, Jun 2018
I thought the scavenger was a great time for me and my kids. My kids are seven and nine and they loved running up and down the streets of Chinatown finding various items that were creative and fun. Through Chinatown we Learned about some culture and fun facts as well as how a lot of people live in Chinatown and some of the traditions. North beach was fun also and the clues were hilarious. Our guide, Beth, was very patient and kind and a lot of fun to be with. She was very knowledgeable and I thought was an essential part of our day. At the end we walked up Lombard and it was the most beautiful street and she gave us a lot of history about the street and the houses. It was a fun challenge to go up the hill and then worth the breathtaking views as reward. It was a wonderful way for a family to spend a couple of hours and really see part of the city they would not know much about otherwise as a visitor. Thank you very much!
