    Tours depart from the rear parking lot near the corner of Hyde St, Beach St from the Hyde St Cable Car turn around in Fisherman's Wharf. A Wells Fargo Bank ATM (Red Sign) is at the entrance to the driveway to our training area. In rear parking lot and not visible until you are at end of driveway.

What To Expect

A Segway tour in San Francisco gives you the ease of exploring the city on wheels while still enjoying being outside in the open air. Cover more ground than walking but won’t be trapped inside a tour bus, and the Segway is easy to use, which you’ll discover during a practice session with your guide.

When you’re comfortable on your Segway, your waterfront tour starts as you follow your guide past Fisherman’s Wharf and the city’s many sights along San Francisco Bay. Make plenty of stops to take photos and listen to commentary from your guide.

See attractions like Aquatic Park, the Dungeness crab stands, the turnaround for the city’s iconic cable cars, Ghirardelli Square, the National Maritime Museum and historical ships docked at Hyde Street Pier, and the USS Pampanito submarine. Pause to take in views of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge, and learn about the city’s fishing industry and seafood processing.

After this introduction to one of San Francisco’s most popular districts, your Segway tour ends back at the starting point.

  • SEGWAY RIDER REQUIREMENTS:
  • All guests must be age 12 or older.
  • All guests must weigh between 100-250 lbs or 45-113 kilos.
  • NOTE: We have a scale on site and check minimum weights for safety of all of our guests. Underweight guests will not be refunded or rescheduled.
  • Riders under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on the tour.
  • No pregnant guests are allowed due to safety reasons.
  • This activity is not recommended for some guests that are: ages 70 years and older, have had recent surgeries or have motor skill/control issues.
  • Each customer must sign a Liability Waiver.
  • Helmets and safety vests are provided and are required.
  • All participants must be able to easily and quickly step on and off the Segway without assistance
  • No high heels, sandals or flip flops.
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Near public transportation
  • Not recommended for pregnant travelers
  • Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 10 travelers

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Great, funny tour guide who really shared some fun facts about the history of the city. Riding the Segways was a total blast. Well worth it.!! we really wanted to also do the tour of Golden Gate Park, but unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate. Next time.

What a great fun way to explore San Francisco! None of us had been on a Segway before, yet the training part of the tour provided us with enough practice to confidently maneuver the streets. Adam, our tour guide and Segway pro, did not only train us expertly and keep us safe in traffic, but showed us San Francisco from this unique wheeled perspective with passion and lots of humor. Adam was the most amazing tour guide - super-entertaining, extremely knowledgeable, very helpful, full of fun, and according to my teenage sons 'a really cool, fun, laid back guy', '10 out of 10'. He made everyone feel comfortable and safe, answered every question, and we might even go for another spin with him! I highly recommend this tour !👌👌👍👍

A fantastic couple of hours whizzing round the Bay Area - as two adults and two teenagers we all enjoyed the experience. Adam our guide was great, full of interesting facts, passionate and (rightly) proud of his city, and making us laugh the whole way. The segways were easy to drive and we all felt comfortable mixing in amongst traffic and pedestrians. Would really recommend this. Nice touch that the guide took photos of us on the way round at the different landmarks so that we could just concentrate on the views.

We have never ridden segways and were a little concerned. Jack was a fantastic coach and tour guide! He put us at ease and taught us how to confidently ride the segway. His sense of humor, knowledge of the area and guiduing us through traffic without any stress made him my favorite guide of all time! The headquarters of the excursion is an amazing alley way full of colorful murals and umbrellas. Great photo opps! Talented artists put a lot of time into making this area special. It was fun and so much more interesting to see San Francisco from a segway rather than a bus. The weather was great and we were able to see much more than I expected. Bring a jacket! It can get pretty breezy zipping around the city. Ten out of ten! Highly recommended.

We had never used a Segway before and we were apprehensive. However, Adam made it so easy for us with his training and sense of humor! We embarked on a fun-filled adventure on the streets of San Francisco near Fisherman’s Wharf, COIT tower , Telegraph Hill, North beach.. We returned safely and full of great memories of a beautiful city. We will do it again!

We did this on the first day in San Francisco. It was a fun way to get around. We had an amazing tour guide called Jack who was fun, friendly and really knowledgeable. He had us doing synchronised segwaying much to the amusement of us and the general public. The location to collect the Segway was really cool with lots of street art to take photos with. Great way to start our Honeymoon

We loved it! Over 2 hours of seeing so much of the city. Jack was a phenomenal guide, very knowledgeable and super fun!! We laughed the whole time. Brian, the owner, was there to greet us and made sure everyone was ready to go. Highly recommend, worth every single penny!!

Very well organised and led. They did good checks on riding skills before going which is good as it’s a bit nerve wracking on San Franciscan hills. We had sensible stop points to stretch legs and see some great views. Really enjoyed it

The WHOLE experience was good...even the training. But the guide, TK the Destroyer, was great. He kept us entertained, he bailed us out when made mistakes, he was great. I scared the Sh** out of him at the end of the ride. The segway got away from me (operator error?) but he bailed me out. I'd even do that again, training and all.
Perfect to see San Fran without walking.

Everything about this tour was great! The training to ride the segway was awesome, they really made you feel comfortable. The tour guide was very informative and fully of energy.
