What To Expect

Board your luxury vehicle for the trip to Yosemite National Park. Cross the Bay Bridge and travel through the Central Valley into the foothills of the Sierra.

Upon arrival at Yosemite, embark on a guided bus tour of Yosemite Valley. Then, enjoy free time to explore on your own. Rent a bike (own expense) to cruise the valley floor, visit the Ansel Adams Gallery, or hit up the rangers' station for informative lectures and guided walks. Peruse the Indian Village of Ahwahnee or stroll along the banks of the Merced River.

Afterward, meet back at the bus to return to San Francisco.

Start your tour from San Francisco downtown, surrounded by skyscrapers that dominate the skyline (Transamerica Pyramid, Salesforce Tower), there is a wealth of tech businesses and Fortune 500 companies.

San Francisco Bay Bridge (Pass By)

Known as the Bay Bridge (or "the other bridge"), it is a complex of bridges spanning the San Francisco Bay. This double-decker bridged services an estimated 260,000 vehicles per day, connects San Francisco and Oakland cities as a part of the Interstate 80.

Great trip but no wifi on bus

Overall, it’s a pretty long day, but it was a good trip. Make sure you take care of your driver by tipping. I would try to include the tip whenever costing this out. The reason why I gave this four stars was, I was a bit inconvenienced by the false advertising of the Wi-Fi. The booking site in which I’m writing this review states the bus has Wi-Fi but it does not. This ran up a bunch of my data, so come prepared. The park was beautiful and given the limited time in San Francisco I had it was worth the 4 Hour Dr. each way. If you have the time I would recommend doing the two days as you will have much more time to explore.

Amazing tour with Joseph and May

Our guide Joseph and our driver May were both amazing! The drive to Yosemite from SF is not an easy one, especially the climb, but May was very careful and even managed to avoid three deers on our way back. Joseph is exceptionally knowledgeable and well read. We enjoyed learning more not just about Yosemite but also about the whole region and SF. His narration was filled with anecdotes from history and full of relevant tips for the visit to Yosemite where we were left on our own to explore. The tour is very well organized, with one stop before the climb and several photo stops along the way to the Valley. We did not know there was an option to book a hotel and sleep in the Valley, then come back tomorrow with a different tour. Generally the tour operators are very accommodating and if you have any wish or request, it can easily be negotiated.

All of it was great, It was the perfect day bright sunshine & snow & waterfalls flowing well after recent snow falls, our guide Joseph was fantastic,friendly & informative, driver ,May was the best also giving us a comfortable journey, these guys are the best team we have experienced. So glad we saw it this time of year making it a beautiful winter wonderland & now crowds

What a trip! Don't hesitate to book and take a wonderful Day trip to Yosemite. Joseph (guide) and May (driver) were amazing. They made This trip so friendly and fun. The trip to Yosemite was great overall, but the journey to and from was wrought with unexpected tribulations. The driver, who told us that he doesn’t normally drive, got lost many times. He did not know how to use the GPS well or the headset for the tour commentary. Besides getting lost multiple times, he drove like a bat out of hell. The mountain passes were narrow roads with some snow and steep drop offs. He drove so fast, even passing a couple of vehicles, that I was terrified. Luckily we made it to the park. After getting lost a couple more times, we finally made it out of the park. I decided that my nerves were too bad to watch this guys drive on these roads so I buckled my seatbelt, closed my eyes, and hoped for the best. I was sure we would get into an accident at some point. Luckily for all of us, the accident that we got it was the driver going too fast on the highway and crashing the bus into the divider. He did have good reflexes and prevented us from hitting other cars. Synopsis: loved the park, happy to be alive.

Nature at its best

Great over all experience, even though we have rain and snow when we were in Yosemite Valley. The guide and driver were great. Guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. The views were amazing, we had three hours to explore the place.

Hiking to see the water fall cascading down the cliff. Hiking across the valley floor for picturesque views of El Capitan and the river. Caught views of rock climbers dangling from the face of the monstrous El Capitan.

This trip was amazing! Our driver Parker was just fantastic! Very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. He was as happy at the end of the long day as he was at 620 am. Yosemite was spectacular. Yosemite is jaw dropping

This was an amazing introduction to Yosemite park. The ride to and from is 8 hours long with only three hours at the park, but for someone who hasn't been there it's enough to appreciate the beauty of nature. We had a driver and a guide who were both great and the bus we rode in was big and comfortable. I recommend this trip if you have the time.

Alex was the best guide. Very helpful, funny, and professional. We enjoyed it a lot. Only thing I would suggest is to have cell phone charging outlets on the bus. The driver was very good as well.

Very breathtaking views. I do suggest that the tour guides number be to the visitor center so in the case of someone being late to the bus or an emergency situation there can be communication. We had 3 passengers almost left due to miscommunication between the overnight lodger count and the tour guide miscounting.

Too much time spent travelling to and from the park

Yosemite was a beautiful park but the 4 hours travelling each way was too much. We only had 3 hours at the park and 8 hours travelling there and back. I also think that it was overpriced.
