Breathtaking views, lovely grounds, mediocre food, passable wine, horrible wine tour
Zaida_L, Aug 2022
Nothing good to say except the beautiful views and grounds. The staff has not (and I suspect cares not for) guest service training.

What a wonderful food experience and our host was very knowledgeable! The wine was also fantastic. Thank you for the great experience.
Fantastic Tasting!

Absolutely wonderful tasting with an exceptional view! Family owned farm with great wines and food. We shipped some goodies back to the states and the costs were super reasonable! Definitely check this out if you're in San Gimignano.
Amazing view, wine, and food

The wine was amazing and each wine paired well with the food that was given. Definitely coming back and getting some of the bottles of wine and some of the olive oil we were able to try. The food was lovely, and the view while we were wine tasting and eating was gorgeous.

Sitting under the umbrella having the most fabulous lunch with 4 wines and 7 olive oils to sample. Viktoria was a super hostess. Great location so close to town. Will highly recommend this tour/lunch to anyone going to San Gimi.

Beautiful organic winery on the edge of town in San Gimignano. We took a walk by the field of vines and learned a little about making the winery organic and then went into a lovely old building where a table had been set up beautifully for lunch. We had several dishes that were paired with wines and everything was very tasty. It would have been nicer to see more of the wine operation itself but this tour was great value and didn't take the whole day so for those looking for an outing of a few hours, this is a good one.

We opted for the lunch tour and chose the truffle lunch. We had mentioned my husband's gluten intolerance when booking, and although the message did not reach the kitchen, they were very happy to accommodate his needs. The wines were excellent, and the food was superb. The lovely Vittoria gave us a thorough background of each of the wines. I would have rated this a 5 but for the fact that we didn't actually get a winery tour as the title suggests. When I asked, Vittoria did take us outside and explain the vineyard and short history of the current ownership. Having said that, I would do this tour again.

We organised this for my father's 70th birthday and also had our 1 year old daughter with us. We had a fantastic time! Beautiful surroundings but really easy to get to. Once we were there, we were well looked after and had the most amazing lunch. The food was simple but so well done, and felt so authentic. Paired with some outstanding wines and of course their own olive oils! It was a great experience - perfect for my father's birthday and their first time wine tasting, and the last day of our holiday in Tuscany. Would happily do it all over again! Also ordered wine and oils to be shipped and they were here within a week. Brilliant! Thank you!

Though this tasting started out really poorly, once we brought our disappointment forward the owner was wonderful. She seemed to genuinely care that we had not been treated to a top of the line experience. I had cajoled my family into a wine tasting and felt horrible when it was going so poorly. Thankfully all was saved by the owner. She took over and shared her knowledge of wine and olive oil, some great food and her good humour with our group. I know she went above and beyond and thank her for salvaging my family's first wine tasting experience. I'm so thankful that it wasn't a big fail, as I adore wine and wouldn't want anyone to feel it was a waste of time. Thank you once again.

Wonderful experience! Our lunch and tasting was in a private room overlooking the vineyards and a great view of the city beyond. A very personalized experience, we loved every second. Both the wine and food were spectacular, and you certainly get your moneys worth. I would highly recommend!!!

Lunch was amazing and we had 6 local wines and 6 local olive oils to try. We had a group of 4 adults and 2 children and the children rated this as tops on their list. Not many wine tasting tours can boast of being family friendly but this one truly was.

Our family had an awesome time at the winery! Jessica and her family were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. The farm is a nice walking distance from the heart of San G. We especially appreciated it being a private tour and meal for our family. The tour, food and different wines were excellent and we had a beautiful view of San G. We shipped wine home which arrived quickly and safely. We highly recommend this tour!
