Traveler Tips

This tour requires a medium level of fitness as you will be doing difficult hikes in narrow spaces.
If you are not adventurous or have fear on heights, this is not the activity for you.
I do not suggest wearing hiking sandals close toed rubber sneakers work best.

This was titled Adventure hike El Yunque Forest. You don’t actually go into the RainForest entrance. It’s a side river and small waterfall. The hike is actually a nice short nature walk. The guides were great and my friends thought it was fun and loved the rock slide, rope swing and Rock jump. If I had done a little research we could have done these things cheaper than what we paid. Also we met the van and followed it to a private lot which we paid an additional $10 for along with 2 other cars. We were told we had an option but there was no room for the 8 of us on the van.
Best thing to do in PR

Amazing guides. Very helpful and friendly. Gave clear instructions about what to bring and NOT bring. Lots of time to explore. Guides were more than willing to answer questions.
A great day to remember in Puerto Rico!

Our hike and afternoon in the waterfall is El Yunque was just fantastic. Our guides were so thoughtful, fun and organized and did their best to make sure everyone felt safe and had the best time. Such a great experience!

I’m so glad we did this tour. The guides were amazing, supportive, knowledgeable, and clearly had a love of the rainforest. Adrianna’s enthusiasm was wonderfully contagious.
Best experience ever!
Amanda_P, Mar 2023
Amazing experience!! Adriana was the best tour guide ever! She took us hiking and we went down the water slide and after she took us to lunch by the beach ❤️
Exceeded Expectations!
Carol_H, Mar 2023
The bus went out of their way to pick us up in Liquillo. The entire experience was fantastic thanks to Julian our guide, who made sure we were safe and had fun! One note, you will be doing a small hike, rock scrambling and climbing, up and over and jumping off a cliff, if you are not physically capable of doing these things, you should do an easier tour. However this was a ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ adventure!
Great excursion!

Great tour! Our guide, Jason, was fantastic and the trail and water activities were incredibly fun..
Great tour-intense but worth it!
Shira_G, Feb 2023
This tour was excellent- definitely intense so make sure you’re in shape, not afraid of heights or anything. I wish the group was smaller, we were a group of 30+ and it was definitely difficult to move while hiking with such a large group. The tour guide, Jason, was excellent and very positive. Definitely bring shoes you do not mind being ruined for the rest of your trip- they will be covered in mud and water!

Thank you for sharing your experience and insight Shira.
Can’t wait to do it again

Jayson & Luis provided us with such an amazing experience. Making sure we were safe, educating us on the Rainforest, super friendly, and overall making sure we had a great time.
worth every penny
Anita_P, Feb 2023
For some reason I wasn’t expecting it to be so muddy and dirty but the tour guide Adriana was so fun and interesting that it made you forget about small things and just be present with nature. The tour was already great but having her as our tour guide definitely made it more amazing!
Great host and driver Great tour. Exciting

An adventurous excursion
Jeffrey_B, Feb 2023
The rain forest is amazing, and this is a unique experience. It's better thought of as an excursion than a nature hike. The entire day has two 20 minute "hikes", to and from the river, they are muddy and interesting and wonderful, but short. There was very little learning about the rain forest. But there were many experiences when not hiking -- jumping, swinging and sliding in lto the river; a great lunch steps from the gorgeous Luquillo beach; and seeing the PR countryside on the drive. The only real drawback was our guide, who seemed uninterested in telling us about any of this and mostly interested in mocking our group, in their personal texting and in getting the tour over with. It's a unique experience that is worth it, and in the hands of a great guide it would be a gem.
Great team to enjoy an adventure with!

it was awesome we had a great time we got to see the whole rainforest experience and a super tour guide thanks jason our lifeguard mitchell was also a great lifeguard. our whole group was family
Safe, fun, and amazed!
Mark_G, Feb 2023
This tour did not disappoint. Adriana and Mitchel were our guides and you could really tell that safety was their number one concern. They were able to determine what activities were safe for us to do based on the current conditions. Our vacation was almost ruined when we jumped off a 20 foot rock and lost our phone in the water in the process, but to our amazement, Mitchel was able to dive down (15-20 feet) and retrieve it! We could not believe it. He is literally like a modern day Tarzan. If you get a chance to do this trip, I would suggest asking for Adriana and Mitchel. I can’t imagine a better pair of tour guides.
Must experience
Ivanney_V, Feb 2023
Our guide was Julian, driver Christian that took great care of us during our tour. They ensured we were safe and helped us throughout our hike. The food stops were delicious but def run on island time so plan accordingly. Our life guard Mitchell was so helpful with non-swimmers, overall amazing experience.
Fun and beautiful rainforest tour
Julie_V, Feb 2023
