PICK UP TIME IS FROM 7:00am TO 10:00am. The depends on the time agreed with your tour guide. Travelers will be picked up from their hotels or their airbnb. Before the tour begins, be sure to pack a towel and shoes to walk or get dirty. You will enjoy a panoramic view during a one-hour drive from San Juan to Ceiba, PR with a certified tour guide. Once you arrive, there will be restrooms and changing rooms before heading to the trails.

A Puerto Rico must do

The highlight of everyone’s trip! One of the best excursions I’ve ever done in any travel destination as well. Our tour guides Andres and Pablo were amazing. They made everyone feel confident navigating the terrain and jumping into the water. Definitely a more intense hike and activity than we thought but if you can swim and are in decent shape it’s no problem. Very cool cliff jumps and natural rock water slide. Andres and Pablo even offered up additional jumps and tunnel swims for those that wanted to. They cater to your group and that was a huge bonus with a group of 9 ladies. Great communication throughout.

My boyfriend and I went on this tour and had such a blast. We were looking for a tour in el yunque but didn’t want to be in a large group, so this tour was perfect. We were in a group of 6 people, and we all got along so well! Our tour guide Juan was super accommodating in picking us up from our exact Airbnb location, and dropping us off at the end. Juan made sure that everyone was having a safe and incredible time, and is so knowledgeable about all of the nature and history of el Yunque. He was also constantly taking pictures and videos of everyone during the tour, so that we didn’t have to worry about bringing our phones with us. After the tour our group all went to lunch together which was a great way for everyone to get to know each other better and debrief about our day. I 100% recommend this tour for anyone who is adventurous and wants to experience the beautiful Yunque!

Beautiful Waters, Swimming & Hike

Sol was an excellent guide on our beautiful family adventure. Her patience and attention to our journey was appreciated. This hike was doable even for our age and athletic abilities. We loved the muddy hike, swimming in the clear water, climbing the rocks, gliding on the waterfall, and some jumping/swinging through the rainforest jungle into the precious water. Sol took tons of photos for us as an added bonus. I highly recommend this Sol and this activity! Her knowledge of the island’s flora and fauna were valuable. Amazing to swim in clear waters. Our tour guide sol & bebo we’re absolutely amazing ! I would do the tour all over again with them. You have to get up bright and early but it’s so worth it. Eduardo our guide was a great cheerleader! We are not athletic by any means but we made it with his expert help! He is also very knowledgeable about the area and general subjects, I enjoyed him very much. The trail is slippery, muddy, and you are going to get your shoes fully wet before you get to the waterfall/swimming area. I would recommend contacts over glasses for this adventure, as my glasses hindered me from getting the full experience. Would be helpful if you have rocky terrain hiking experience. DO NOT take this excursion if you are a first time hiker. I recommend to use a life jacket if you're going to try to get to the waterfall, unless you're an expert swimmer. Also, we were 3 larger people squishing in a small back seat of an economy size car, the rides were uncomfortable.

This trip is a must!! Picked us up 7AM at our hotel and then 1 hour ride to the rain forest, the entire time explaining PR past and present. Our guide was Mitchell and he was awesome. The hiking/rock climbing was the perfect safe pace. Sliding, diving and swimming in the crystal clear river water was exhilarating. Don’t miss this and go with a small group as we did, not a larger group.

After much consideration, I decided to go with this tour because it includes transportation, and let me say; I am so happy I went with this one. To start, two days before our tour I got an email that let us know someone would reach out with our pick-up time, and in that email included a list of suggestions for us while visiting PR. Our tour-guide was the best! Andrea communicated by text with us the day before with a pick-up time and on the morning of with updates. We were with two other couples, a total of 6. The drive was smooth. Andrea gave us lots of information and explained how the tour would go. El Yunque was beautiful and definitely, a must-do while visiting Puerto Rico. We entered through a beautiful, local family-owned area. The climb was a little challenging for me as I am moderately active outdoors, but Andrea helped the entire way while giving us the history of the forest. The cliffs were great, and the water was refreshing. Our group decided on La Frutera for lunch - it was delicious, authentic Puerto Rican food! Thank you, Andrea! ♥

Andrea was thee greatest! She was very informative and pleasant to be around. She made the hike enjoyable and let us go at our pace. After the hike She took us to the best restaurant for lunch, it has been the best meal I had here in San Juan. Based on her recommendation me and my husband shared a stuffed avocado with rice and beans, omg!!!! We even got to walk the beach for a quick minute and listen to music at the bar next to the restaurant. Great vibes and the other people we were with were awesome we didn't even wanna leave them at the end. Private tour was nice. We saw the large groups doing the tour and I’m glad we had a small group. Juan was very nice. Having just done other canyoneering and excursions, this is definitely not the best experience. But if you’re in Puerto Rico it’s worth experiencing this. My only comment is to make water/hiking shoes mandatory and give us helmets for safety measures. They recommend not bringing your phone but I would definitely take it and take photos of the journey. There are lots of climbing here so if you’re not comfortable going through a rocky forest this isn’t for you. No one’s gotten hurt from what I’ve heard but I caution people. One bad step can lead to a really bad accident. Fun experience overall!

Our tours are small private groups to ensure our guide can keep an eye on everyone and is able to help everyone at all times! Whereas other companies take as many people as they can on tours with only one to two guides. The reason helmets are given from other companies is because it is very difficult for one or two guides to keep a group of 50-100 safe all at once, so they hand helmets out to travelers. Our experience being a more private one, we ensure to keep our group together at all times, ensuring safety as our number one priority and giving our travelers a good quality experience! Water shoes/hiking shoes/Old sneakers with good grip are in fact mandatory, the only shoes not allowed on tour are sandals or open toe shoes. In our beautiful island of Puerto Rico, we don't have canyoneering, but we do have rappelling and ziplining which we are working hard to add to our awesome list of experiences as well as the yoga experience, food/rum old san juan experience and the night life experience! We are excited to have you on tour and if you ever have the opportunity to come back to our beautiful island, we will give you an unforgettable experience to take back home with you!

The guide Juan was amazing and extremely friendly. There is a lot of walking involved for over an hour so bring good shoes and stretch and try to be in shape. During the tour, Juan explained different places, plants and and animals and culture. The climb to the waterfalls is over an hour.
