Great experience overall, although the start was a little boring for us in the rio camuy caves but later it got better and ended with amazing. Jose is such an amazing tour guide and went above and beyond for everyone in the group. An ideal example of a tour guide imo. The highlight for us were the Injun caverns which is an interesting experience and definitely recommended for everyone.

Great tour guides...however...tour was supposed to offer hotel pickup...almost no one was picked up at a hotel leading to a lot of confusion in the am. Also, tour pickup was at 7am when almost everything is closed in town. Usually tours that start this early offer a coffee/breakfast stop but nothing was offered. Walk in the river and waterfalls was free and people could go by themselves so there was no charge for that, and the caverns tour was interesting but definitely not worth the $185 that was charged especially since lunch was not included and the last stop again was some cliffs where it started the pour so it was a 10min stop. no snacks, no lunch, no breakfast and most of the attractions are free that you could go to yourself. not sure why the charge was so high.

Hi Yekarina! We are sorry to read this is how you feel! We do offer Hotel pick us in San Juan area. In old San Juan cases is imposible to access with a van to the front of the hotels due to the narrow streets and park cars, that’s why we do a meeting point in the main plaza which is mainly a 5-10 minute walk from most of the hotels. This tour includes 3 stops, with the necessary equipment and certified tour guides. From those 3 stops 2 of them required a entry fee and we offer a private personalized tour of the Camuy Caverns which mainly is a Large group audio tour. There are se several company that offer only transportation with entry tickets to the general group audio tour for $165 from San Juan and back. Making our package a great deal, taking into consideration that is a full day tour with 3 attractions stops and a private tour, knowledgeable guides and provided detailed information about the locations, history and natural elements. Transportation alone one way would cost about the same amount. Is also important to know that all beaches and rivers on the island are public property. Every tour you pay for a river adventure tour, your paying for the services it self and not the place. We are sorry that is started raining on the last stop, we’re we were for more then an hour and a few of the the travelers were able to go down into the cave while the rest took pictures and enjoyed there time even under the rain. Over all we enjoyed having you with us on Mother’s Day and hope all of this information may help understand better what you paid for.

We had a great time! All of the stops we went to were fun and adventurous. There was a good amount of walking / hiking involved so be prepared for that and wear the right shoes. The restaurant we stopped at was delicious! My only complaint is that our tour guide Joseph (who is a great guy and a good tour guide) did not stop texting while driving almost the entire trip. At one point we almost rear ended someone because of it. Other than that we had a great time and would highly recommend!

An amazing experience!

This was the most amazing experience! We learned so much about the caves, the river and even the plants around us. We took in breath taking views inside the caves and out. Our tour guy and driver Felix was amazing and made this adventure unbelievable! Even took us to a great spot for lunch, the food was amazing. This was worth every penny and more!

Unique and Beautiful Adventure

Can't recommend enough. Our group included myself, three other solo travelers, and a couple and it was an absolutely amazing time. We went from exploring the caverns and waterfalls to climbing through a hole in the side of a cliff to reach some interior cave originally inhabited by the Taino. I could go on and on about the experiences we had, but instead I'll just let you see for yourself!

José was an excellent guide with extensive knowledge about the Tainos and a passion for learning and teaching others about the history and culture. He also had extensive knowledge of the local flora and their indigenous uses. José took extra care in accommodating the needs, desires and comfort levels of every participant. He shared stories of his own upbringing and his culture, which gave the tour a more local and personal feel. Truly one of the best guides we’ve had in our time in Puerto Rico. I’d highly recommend this trip for someone looking to dive into the rich culture of this beautiful country and for a day of spicy adventure with scrambling up rocks, cliff jumping and swimming through caves. Don’t be afraid to go beyond your comfort level. José is encouraging and looks out for the safety and well-being of everyone.

Multiple adventures in one excursion!

This excursion involves three stops. The first is a cavern (no swimming), the second is hiking, swimming, and cliff jumping, and the third is a cave with climbing and small spaces (no swimming). The hiking is very serious, including rough terrain (through rivers, over rocks/boulders), and flat paths. It is SO worth it. Jose took such good care of us! He was especially wonderful to my kids, to the point it almost felt like we had a private tour. I would highly recommend this adventure. Wear good all-terrain hiking shoes that can get wet. The lunch was at a local restaurant with absolutely amazing food. There is nothing I would change and can't thank Jose enough for being so wonderful!

This was THEE best excursion I have ever been on in Puerto Rico. Jose and felix were the best tour guides there is. Jose took us above the waterfall which was not part of the tour. Both Jose and Felix were very knowledgeable about the this beautiful island and super personable. The views and caves were breathtaking. Thank you so much Jose and Felix you truly made this experience the best ever. 5 stars isn’t enough for this. I give it 20 stars. Highly recommended.

Fun day in the caves

Good tour. Great tour guide, ice transportation, sights were fun. Be prepared: long day in the bus. 90 min out, 90 min back, 25-30 min between the 3 stops. Bring snacks, drinks. Bring a towel, you swim at the waterfall, no way around it. Bring water shoes for scampering and then dry shoes for hiking. Fully charged phone. Little sunscreen. Bus isn’t huge so it’s tight on the sprinter van.

This was honestly one of the most fun tours I’ve been on! Beautiful sights and a very encouraging and knowledgeable tour guide! Both my husband and I cannot swim and Joma went out of her way to make us feel safe as well as the others who also didn’t know how to swim. She also offered to take amazing pictures and delivered every single time. Would recommend this tour to anyone!

Fun family adventure, able to see unique parts of the island

Our guides took great care of our group starting with a hotel pick up, which was very much appreciated. The first stop was a large cave. A slow calm pace so we didn’t wear out for the trek back up the hill and the rest of the day. Kids enjoyed some ice cream afterward at the top, which took contactless payment. My family devoured a ton of food for $30 at the local lunch stop. We were well fueled for an afternoon full of adventure swimming, jumping, climbing and enjoying waterfalls and ocean scenery. Highly recommend for adventurous families wanting to explore different parts of the island. Bring good footwear (our Keen sandals worked well). Our 7 yo was too small for the final cave exploration with a wall climb, but we explored petroglyphs and beautiful views while we waited for the rest. Loved the guides’ teaching and patience. Home a little later than expected as we never felt rushed. Bring snacks and water. A memorable day! Thanks!

Full Day Adventure

Joma was an excellent tour guide on this all day adventure and believe them when they say you are really going to get all wet and need to bring closed toed shoes that can get entirely soaked if not two pair especially a good pair of closed toed hiking sandals. The cave was quite a hike to get down to and especially to get back up from. Even the lunch restaurant was very tasty that the whole family really enjoyed.

Jose Falcon and Johmara made this tour a blast. They friendly, knowledgeable, fun, and safe. Our kids ages 9,8, and 5 enjoyed every second of it. Jose drive safe and was knowledgeable. Johmara was great with the kids and made it an experience of a lifetime. Thank you both. The kids will be talking about this trip for a lifetime. Truly awesome tour! If you’re used to hiking you won’t find anything exceptionally difficult, though I recommend you bring two sets of shoes and a change of clothes as the first part is aquatic. Joma and her partner were extremely knowledgeable and attentive, and you can tell they truly care about the subject matter discussed on the tour. They do a good job of involving everyone! I highly recommend this tour. My wife and I had a blast!

This tour was amazing!! Jose was our guide, and I cannot say enough positive things about him! He was so knowledgeable and informative, and really made us feel good about ourselves and our adventure. I'm 61 years old, and only in "OK" shape, so some of this journey was a little taxing, but boy was it worth it!! I learned a lot, and saw so many beautiful sites. Jose made us feel safe and always had our backs! I highly recommend this tour, you will not regret it!!!!

This tour was incredible. It was the most adventurous day of my life. We got to see beautiful sights with super fun and challenging activities, like climbing and swimming in caves and jumping from cliffs into the water. Jose is best tour guide ever. There were tough parts where he physically lifted me up and also helped me get through my fears rock climbing. If you do one tour in Puerto Rico, I recommend this one with Jose!

This. excursion. was. INSANE! SO FUN! You are extremely immersed in the environment and literally are climbing up and down mountains and swimming through rivers. The tour guide, José, was awesome and made sure everyone was okay at all times and was super informative about Puerto Rico and its history. He was fun to tour with and made sure everyone was involved even if they didn't do any jumps or climbs. You do really have to be physically fit in a way to do this trip or even at least be brave enough to do all the fun things this excursion involved. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who really wants to see the "hidden" sides of Puerto and super cool caves. The plus side too was that I'm afraid of bugs and there were absolutely NONE, but the water we swam in was cold lol. You'll get amazing photos. Overall, 100/10 would experience again.
