Your guide will be by the fountain in Plaza de Armas with a blue umbrella. Please plan accordingly and arrive 10 minutes prior to start time. Tour starts promptly! Once the guide has left the meeting location, guests may no longer join the tour. Please note we are on Atlantic Standard Time (AST).

This is a walking tour through Old San Juan.
Transporation is not included; we recommend UBer to acccess the old city.
Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
The meeting point is Plaza de Armas by the fountain. (Near Catalá Jewelry Store, Departamento del Estado and City Hall). If you plan on taking an Uber, input 'Alcaldía' (city hall) as Plaza de Armas does not appear. Look for the blue umbrella!

Coming into Puerto Rico I was so exited to eat some local food but I had no idea where to go and what was good. I found Spoon on trip adviser and although it was pretty pricey, it was so worth it. We had amazing food. We went to 4 different spots for food and 1 spot for dessert. Since we were trying so many different foods they gave us small portions but I was so full by the end of the tour. Our tour guide was Lorna and not only did you explain the foods but also the origin and how it became so popular in Puerto Rico. She was amazing and the food, drinks, and dessert was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately I did not take many pictures and the ones I did are half eaten. We had so many spectacular dishes and drinks!!! I definitely recommend if it is your first time in Puerto Rico.

The most memorable part of my experience was not the food or the place, but the tour guide. Gia was very expressive, honest, and caring with all of us. She took care of all of our needs and kept us all on time and well-informed.

"Wiki" Pablo was a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide. He was also a good host. The food was delicious. If you are a drinker, the cocktails are plentiful but if you aren't a drinker you can get your cocktails made without alcohol.

Tasty and informative

Pablo our guide was fantastic. He shared a lot of stories of the history of the food and drink of San Juan and Puerto Rico. I enjoyed learning also about why the buildings in Old San Juan are so colorful. We stopped at 5 places (got alcoholic drinks at four of them, which was more than I expected) and I ate plenty of food for me, though my husband wanted one more snack after we were done. I liked how the places we went to eat all had places for us to sit down and relax, on some similar tours I've been this hasn't been the case. Overall a great informative and tasty tour and worth the price we paid.

Perfect Introduction to Puerto Rico Culture and Cuisine

From the original daquiri, to mafongo, pidgeon pea salad, fish fritters, ceviche- it was all new and delicious. Amazing Tour

Our tour guide Lorna was amazing! She knew all about the history of old san juan and took us to great restaurants to try 4 courses of food. Our belly’s were really full after! She gave us time to also sight see and take photos by showing us great views and she was so kind and energized. I definitely recommend! We also lucked out with an amazing group of people and everyone talked and ate together as if we knew each other for a long time at the end!

Lorna, our guide, was incredible and absolutely knowledgeable about the history of PR, OSJ and the local cuisine. Each course came paired with the perfect drink. In addition to the food and libations, there were also plenty of opportunities to stop for photo ops along the way. One of the best tasting tours I have ever been on.

This tour was amazing! All the food was so delicious. We especially loved the mofongo and the fresh piña colada (better than any piña colada I've ever had). Pablo was fun and a wealth of information and interesting stories.
