Children must be (4) four years or older and be accompanied by an adult per Mini Boat.
Each Mini Boat driver must be 18 years or older and present a valid driver’s license at check in.
No alcohol or smoking is allowed aboard our mini boats.
There is a weight limit of 600 pounds per boat limit. If the weight limit is exceeded, the staff will add and additional mini boat for the reservation, if available and it will have an additional fee.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

We booked this excursion in May 2023 and it was so much fun! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We got to see many of the sights of a walking tour such as the fortresses and the Capital building but from a much better perspective. We also got to circle our cruise ship and wave to our fellow travelers. Would definitely book again when in San Juan.

so much fun. legit get to drive your own little boat around the ocean/bay and it’s so much fun. the guides are in their own little boats in front and behind you for safety, but far out. so you’re able to steer freely it’s so fun! they even stopped on the shore of old san juan and let us jump in the water and cool off.

The Lady there was very friendly. We got cold drinks before and after the trip. We were lucky that it was just us and one more boat, so it was a very small group. The Tour Guide seemed bored and not in the mood for it, but oh well. Unfortunately it was not what I expected. They said it would be a 90 minute ride with the boat also with guided Commentary about San Juan, that's said in the description. There was no guided commentary at all. We drove around for about 25 Minutes in the industriell Harbour and then he stopped at a Beach where he said we would stay for the next 45 minutes. Well we went swimming although there was a big sign on the Beach which said:NO SWIMMING !!! Mhhh, we thought that was kind of inappropriate. After that we drove along the the Morro Jable city wal, he made some pictures and then strait back which was about 15 minutes. So there was really not a lot of driving. Afterwards we were allowed to take a shower which was great. The Equipment was good (the boats). My suggestion would be, let the people drive more, a quick swim is nice but not half of the time.

This was the highlight of our trip to Puerto Rico!! The tour guides were so great with the kids. We got to drive our own personal boat around the bay of San Juan. We saw some cool historical sights, and the guides were extremely knowledgeable of the area. They were excellent with the kids also! We even got to see the massive cruise ships up close! It was an experience we will never forget! The kids wanted to do it again the next day!

I had a wonderful time. It was my first experience driving a boat so it was going to be fun either way but towards the end the instructor’s patience wore out. I couldn’t understand them and I didn’t know how to park the boat how they wanted. However I would recommend this adventure to anyone who wants to experience driving a mini boat.

Best Excursion of the cruise!

San Juan Mini Boats was our favorite excursion on the cruise. The company was great and worked with us from the moment we booked the excursion up until that day. Our iterniary changed two weeks before travel and the company changed our reservation right away with no problems. They answered all my questions via email and I felt safe getting to and from the ship. We took a taxi there. I would not attempt to walk from the cruise terminal. It was 18.00 for 3 of us one way. There is a booth for taxis right outside the cruise terminal. Getting back could have been more difficult, but one of the employees Christian graciously offered to bring us back, which was greatly appreciated. Our guide Francisco taught us how to operate the boat and for 90 minutes we cruised all around the harbor. It was amazing driving right next to our cruise ships. I always wanted to drive a boat and this was a great first start. My kids and I had so much fun and this was definitely an excursion we will never forget. Thank you Francisco and Christian for making our day in San Juan so special and memorable. Francisco also took a video of us cruising which is a great keepsake. I would definitely recommend this excursion. It's about a 15 minute taxi ride from the port and you get a lot of drive time in 90 minutes!!

The staff were friendly and helpful. They provided brief instructions on land prior to us getting into the boats. We received a wonderful tour of the bay and thoroughly enjoyed these little boats. Overall, it was a great value for the money. Would definitely do this tour again.

Rough ride

The booking in terms of communication and professionalism with staff was great. The roughness of the ride was a real negative for me. Some might enjoy that though. The tour of the sites was a real underwhelming experience. We just went in large circles for about an hour. When we went to one site we were asked to leave by someone vigorously blowing a whistle. We were in between two large cruise ships at the time. All in all it was not a great experience, although I could see how others might enjoy it .

My family and I had a wonderful experience. We were the only ones to come on Christmas Eve, so the hostess and host gave us an extended tour. They were super nice and very accommodating. My boat started puttering after 10 minutes. I told the guide and he checked the boat. His adjustment did nothing. The guide did not offer to get a different boat. There were only two boats besides the guide. They had numerous cancellations! They should NOT offer excursions when there boats do NOT run properly! Totally disappointed and thought I was going to be stranded in the water because the boat constantly puttered! This was an AWFUL excursion!
