Pickup details

I pick up at all hotels, B&B's, Inns and the many Trolley Stops around the Downtown Savannah area about 20 minutes before tour time. I call an hour before to give an exact pick up time. Pick up has to be in the Downtown Area (Historic District and Victorian District) at a loading zone or legal trolley stop. If you are not sure, just put in the address of where you are staying and I'll let you know the best place to get picked up. As long as you are in or close to my pick up radius downtown, I'll probably be able to get you at your VRBO or INN. I CANNOT pick up South of Victory Drive. It is just too far away to do pick ups in 20 minutes. You'd have to meet the group at Bonaventure Cemetery. Also, you may MEET THE TOUR at the cemetery. Please let me know what you want to do after you book your tour so I can make arrangements.

Beautiful cemetery, very atmospheric. Really gives a sense of place and history. Tim our guide was terrific. Very knowledgable, kind and professional. I had some general questions as a solo traveler, and Tim went out of his way to be helpful in this regard also. I highly recommend this experience.

Our tour guide was prompt in picking us up. He was well informed about the cemetery and monuments. No hokey ghost stories, just facts and that is very interesting. He offered us water bottles and kept us in the shade whenever possible, due to the extreme heat, when he was giving us information about the cemetery. He was very patient and courteous. Overall, one of the best guided tours I've ever been on.

Our tour guide Tim was great. His knowledge of the history and people in the cemetery was amazing. He was punctual and prepared, and really shared a huge amount of detailed information during the tour. Our group was a nice size so we felt like we could interact with Tim and ask questions. There’s so much to see at Bonaventure that I feel like there was quite a lot we didn’t get to, but we got as much as could be packed into 2 hours and I think Tim really made a point to hit the more influential families and highlights of the cemetery.

Tim was great! We toured with Tim 7/29. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and punctual. I never imagined anyone could be so knowledgeable about 160 acres of monuments, family histories, and the impact time and nature. If you are looking for embellished fantasies or ghost stories this is not the tour for you. Tim believes in authenticity and respect for the memories and monuments. From a customer service perspective, Tim provides what you forget: he had pockets full of umbrellas, bug spray and water. Finally, having transportation provided helped tremendously. Our Airbnb had free parking and there was a pickup location very near so we did not have to look for or pay for parking. Well worth our time and money.
