What To Expect

Make your way to the trolley departure point at 215 west boundary st. A trolley departs every 20 minutes for most of the day. 

Climb on board and begin learning about the history and culture of Savannah as you ride between the 15 stops. Hop off at any stop Savannah's historic district to explore further on foot with a flexible schedule to suit your pace and interests. 

Stops include River Street, the City Market, the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, and others.

The trolley ride gave a hood overview that allowed you to decide what you wanted to explore further. I would have liked more historical info but the driver couldn’t cover everything and please everybody.

What a great way to start a visit to Savannah! Staff from start to finish top notch. Ticketing staff and lot staff were very helpful. Drivers were all very knowledgeable and friendly. Characters that joined us at the stops were fantastic in portraying their historical figures and entertaining. Highly recommend this company.

Great way to learn about Savannah and see the sights! We did this first and then went back to specific places where we wanted to spend more time.
Excellent tour; call first to make sure they are picking up at all stops or you'll be standing there forever.

***MAKE SURE TO CALL AND ASK IF THEY ARE NOT STOPPING AT ALL STOPS*** The tour itself was fantastic and the guide was friendly, knowledgeable and fun. We stood at a scheduled stop and watched a tour bus drive by with no explanation. Tried to contact customer service through Viator and got no response. Called the phone number listed and that is how we found out they weren't stopping at that scheduled stop. Poor communication from the management/office team. It shouldn't be a reflection of the tour operators.

The ride was nice, very informative and a great way to see the city. However, the instructions of how to get on to the Trolly were very difficult to understand. We took an Uber to get to the Trolly station and come to find out, one of the stops is just outside of our hotel.

Gertrude was amazing!! She provided a lot of history of Savannah. Charlie was a great driver managing all the twists and turns!! It was great to be able to hop on and off. Will definitely use you when I or friends visit Savannah😊

Seats was very uncomfortable and your was not what we expected!! Road around in a circle didn’t really see anything. Would not recommend and the price should have been lower!!

Very informative tour about the city of Savannah. It was easy to get on and off the trolley. Some drivers were more entertaining than others but we learned a lot from it. Would recommend highly!

We really enjoyed our trolley tour from the check in to the time we got off. The heat in Savannah that day was oppressive, doing a hop on hop off tour is your best option to get the lay of the land and know where you want to go. We had a 3.5 year old with us who enjoyed the characters who came on at some stops to speak. Great experience, would do this again for sure!

This was a great tour of Savannah and included all the major tourist sites. Our driver provided an excellent narrative of all the sites. I would definitely recommend this tour!

The tour itself was amazing!! Our guide Dick was super funny and we learned a lot! If you want to do this tour I would suggest booking directly through their website because they seemed confused about the mobile tickets provided by Viator. Also the instructions listed here are incorrect, you must start your tour at stop number 1 the Savannah Visitors Center.

Savannah is beautiful and we enjoyed the tour and the history. Unfortunately, we had a situation where we had to wait for nearly 45 minutes for a trolley when leaving the Basilica. We watched 3 orange trolleys leave the stop before one of these trolleys arrived and still had to leave 6 people at the stop for the next trolley. There were several other passengers left at each of the next 3 stops. That is unacceptable. Need to do better.
