What To Expect

Make your way to a centrally-located trolley stop, where you can climb aboard for a tour of the historic city. The guide helps bring 270 years of Savannah history to life, following a carefully-chosen route through Savannah’s National Historic Landmark District, one of the largest in the United States.

See some of the city’s elegant pre-war mansions, and ride along cobblestone streets in the shade of moss-draped oak trees. Take in some of Savannah’s most beautiful squares, then head to the Savannah River for views along the water.

Throughout the tour, the guide shares scenes from life in the historic South, and sets a fun, easy-going pace that’s the perfect way to experience Savannah. This trolley tour concludes at the original departure point.

Our tour guide was Eddy and he was great Very knowledgeable about the area. Had lunch at the Pink House and peach cobbler at the crystal brewery. I recommend both places

Wonderful experience from start to finish. The guides steered us to easy access parking to begin. The ticket agents were efficient and friendly and the "local citizens" provided an insight into historical Savannah we would never have known without them. They truly enriched the tour. Not enough nice things to say about our tour guide - very personable, amazing details about the sites, and the most remarkable driving skills! Our heartfelt thanks to all involved.

We were on the trolley tour. Our first encounter was a very snippy parking attendant. OK, I will give her some props for standing out in the heat! We were told where to park and proceeded to walk across the street. The tour was just average. We had read many things and some of the "facts" were incorrect but that is not a big deal. Then the rain started to pour down in buckets. The tour guide, Charlie Brown, told us as we approached the Visitor's Center that he would drive us across the street to our parking spot. Several of us were parked there. Not only did he NOT do this he stopped and we all had to get out with lightning flashing all around. We couldn't use umbrellas because of the lightning. We were all drenched to the bone. It certainly was not his fault for the weather but we were NOT the only ones who heard he was going to drop us off closer to parking. We had on rain gear and it was raining so hard we still got soaked to the bone. We had to buy new shoes because ours were saturated with water. I would never do this tour again!! Very disappointed!!!

The driver was very knowledgeable, and I enjoyed the "characters" that showed up during the tour. The driver was very experienced in driving through the Savannah streets. There were some places that I wasn't sure he would be able to make it through, but he did. If you like history, then this is the tour for you.
