Our tour guide was from Florida where we are from and that was just instant camaraderie! Savanna was an excellent guide and gave us a lot of interesting information as we walked about the city. We had a lot of information thrown at us; thank goodness there wasn't a test! Would definitely recommend this tour!

Our guide was a nice guy, but we signed up for a history tour and got a mediocre architecture tour with very little history. We found ourselves listening to other groups’ tour guides who were actually talking about history while ours just walked by many significant historical markers.

Some very good food coupled with a well-paced and informative walking tour of downtown Savannah. Lots of history about the building architecture, family mansions, and history of the city from Civil War times to the present. All six dishes were delicious and both Bloody Mary and Mojito hit the spot!

Great Tour and Guide

This was a very good tour. Keith was a great guide. The tour lasted nearly 2 hours and at no time did we feel rushed. Keith was knowledgeable and gave us in depth accounts of Savannah’s history. He was attentive to our needs, answered all our questions and watched out for our safety. One thing we particularly appreciated were the earpieces. Keith was miked so we could easily hear him over traffic and construction noise. It was a nice touch. Highly recommend this tour.

Cemeteries are not sacred ground! Our tour guide (Pierce) was extremely knowledgeable about both the history of Savannah as well as the myths. Pierce spent 5 minutes or more at at each stop imparting knowledge and answering questions. At the end of the tour he provided additional locations of interest as well as the opportunity to contact him with any future questions. Well worth the $26.50.

The church and the graveyard we found very interesting. It was a good tour but could have been a bit more interesting instead of so many detailed dates. Maybe a few stories about people or events would have lightened it up a little.

Just Not Very Interesting...

We hate to write a bad review as we rarely do it. But we have no contact info to contact the company directly. Keith was a nice enough guy but unfortunately he seemed more interested in talking about himself and his company and how impressive they were, and how impressive a number of the stopping points were because "we advertise with them" than he was in telling us interesting facts about Savannah. He did give a few bits of info but I have to say that Savannah seemed like a rather uninteresting town by the end of the tour. He also was extremely repetitive, so much so that it made it seem like he didn't have very much else to say which also contributed to our conclusion that Savannah must be not very interesting. However, we walked around after the tour and learned a lot by just reading plaques at the different squares that we had visited on the tour and also by searching "The Olde Pink House" (another place we visited) and reading on Wikipedia than we did from Keith. This made us wonder why he wouldn't at least tell some of the stories on the plaques and some on the internet. It was an odd and disappointing experience. I don't know if all the guides from this company are similar or not but having come off a REALLY interesting and involving walking tour in Charleston the day before (also booked on Viator) made it pretty clear that it comes down to which guide you get and how passionate and knowledgeable they are about their city. Unfortunately between Charleston and Savannah, we have now experienced the two extremes.

Really enjoyed this walking tour. Keith was a terrific guide who is passionate about all things Savannah. He paced the tour really well along with alot of information about the history of the city. Great mix of some indoor spots as well so we could cool off a little! The historic area of Savannah is just beautiful with really interesting history. Looking forward to our next visit.

This tour was time well spent in Savannah! Our guide was so knowledgeable and excited about the history of Savannah which made the tour so fun. We had great conversations about loal food, culture, architecture, and history. We did this at the beginning of our trip which was helpful in understanding the lay of the land. Our guide clearly has good relationships with local purveyors as we were able to step into shops and restaurants which made it more personal. Highly recommend this as part of your trip to Savannah!

This was a fantastic tour! Our tour guide was Piers M and he was great. Very knowledgeable about the city and answered all of our questions. He was patient when a member of our party had to use the bathroom. He was very interesting to listen to and we highly recommend this tour. We had 3 adults and a 10 and 12 year old in our party.
