Pickup details

We offer complimentary pickup ONLY in the Historic District of Savannah. We do not go to areas outside of the Historic District such as Tybee Island, Pooler, Gateway, the Airport, etc. Please call to confirm that your location is within the Historic District of Savannah.

What To Expect

Enjoy hotel pickup or make your own way to the Savannah Visitors Center to board the trolley (choose at time of booking). 

Sit back and relax on the full loop through the Savannah Historic District, the Victorian District, River Street, and Savannah City Market. As you drive through the town's stately mansions and hanging Spanish moss, experience the magic that was the inspiration for John Berendt's novel 'Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil'. Learn the history, legend, and lore which has shaped Savannah into a place known both as one of the most romantic and most haunted cities in America.

At the conclusion of the tour, make your way to River Street to board a Savannah Riverboat. Take in the waterfront views as you cruise along the lovely Savannah River and learn about the history of the river from your captain.

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

A:We offer pickup from hotels in the Savannah Historic District, however, if you would prefer to drive to the departure location, there is parking at the Savannah Visitor's Center. (Note: There may be a parking fee)

The Beauty of the city and all of the history that surrounds it makes Savannah amazing. I would recommend coming here to anyone. Everyone is friendly. The river was also very calming. the narrator on the boat was great.

We loved the live fire at Fort Jackson on the river,. Our guide on the land tour was very knowledgeable. Both trips were fun. If there was any down side it was on the trolly, when the historic site was on the other side and you couldn’t see it very well. But you knew where to come back too if you wanted to take a closer look .

Chris as a delight! Full of knowledge and a very animated way of telling the story! The history and volumes of details were so interesting. My brain was overloaded! The water tour on the Georgia Queen was very nice. Our narrator was amazing and kept us entertained the entire time!

I really enjoyed the trolley tour. The tour guide was very informative and delightful. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the riverboat cruise. There was not much historical info or sights. It was just a relaxing ride.

Our trolley tour guide, Chris, was awesome!! We sat on the left side of the trolley and had poor views of most of the stops, but they offer personal shuttle service to go back to any of the stops you want to explore for the remainder of the day of your tour AND the next day!! The Riverboat portion was very nice as well.
