Talked more about food & places to eat instead of history. We passed a lot of locations not talked about.

Hello TripAdvisor and Viator review readers- As advertised, this tour provides an introductory overview of the history, culture, physical layout, buildings, and personalities that make Savannah unique. It covers a lot of ground. I also provide guests with information about area attractions, as well as recommendations about places to dine and shop. Regarding “passing a lot of locations not talked about” -- I created this two-hour tour and curated its content based upon being a long-time resident of downtown Savannah, being a tour guide for some six years, and a writer for the past 30. I was lucky enough to get Jim Gresham for a tour guide and I was the only tourist so it was a very personalized tour. So great to have a wonderful tour guide and was a great overview of the historic district. Highly recommend!!

Martin provided a very good tour, taking us through the history of Savannah and providing a lot of useful information. The two hours we spent together were interesting since he covered a great breath of topics. Our only issue was that we found he didn't focus on architecture as much as we would have liked.
