The best tour you can have!

This was the best tour we had during our trip in Scotland! Amazing tour guide! The lady showed us the Linlithgow Castle from the outside (it was closed for renovation), while waiting for a couple who missed the earlier train, and was running late with 20 min. This castle was not on the tour program! The tour guide was super accommodating, she allowed us to go to the coffee shop, and get coffee and sandwiches! I didn't know the sandwiches I ordered were to be prepared with "cooked haggis" at the moment, so it took over 15 min. of waiting time for my sandwiches, and the lady accommodated us again, calling the van driver to come pick us up on the way to the fist castle , straight from the coffee shop! The tour guide stayed with us, the rest of the group was already in the van! This was amazing! I couldn't have been more grateful! Same thing happened in Hopetoun House, where we had to use the restrooms, and fell behind the group. She waited for us, and we caught up with the group again! The whole experience was magic! In Hopetoun House, there was a boy form another tour, who played Chopin on the centuries old piano inside, while we were touring! We also had a great lunch break in Culross, in between visiting filming locations! Super well organized tour, we had time for everything, and it never felt like we were rushing! I give it 10 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Outlander Disappointment

We have been on tours where the guide stands and faces the people on the bus and tells stories about the scenes from the film and the places we are going to see BEFORE we arrive so we were prepared for our next stop. This didn't happen. Our guide was a lovely woman but really only answered questions when asked. Her microphone was faulty and we endured constant feedback which was ear piercing!
