This is the Seattle sightseeing cruise that started it all.

Since 1949, this narrated harbor cruise has been a favorite attraction for millions of people, both visitors from afar and locals alike. Enjoy this sightseeing tour of Seattle’s historic waterfront, with seemingly never-ending views of the city skyline, the Great Wheel Ferris wheel, the Space Needle, the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges, and Mt. Rainier (weather permitting).

The ship typically features an enclosed lower deck with an open upper sun deck, certified for 250 travelers but generally accommodating between 75-150 guests.

My son and I took the Seattle Harbourfront Tour and enjoyed it very much. The ferry showed us amazing view of the city along with the piers, docks, greenery and the mountains in the distance. The staff were friendly, fun, and very informative. I would recommend taking this tour to everyone!

Definitely consider this harbor cruise when touring Seattle outstanding presentation.

We booked through Viator the 1:25 tour, arrived at 12;50, had our confirmation number, and upon arrival at the tent at the end of the pier was told "we cannot find you". They searched by Conf. Number and by Name, but no luck. We were then sent inside to the actual Argosy Cruise Office (adjacent to the pier) and the rep in there could not find the reservations either. It appears that this is common as the statement made was "Viator does this too often". So we were given our tickets, and sent out to get on the boat at 1:25. At that time, there were NO SEATS available upstairs, so we were stuck on the lower level for the cruise. You can't really see a lot from sea level. My recommendation is book direct.

I never made it. My train took a half hour to get to Seattle and at 12:04 I was still walking to figure out the best place to get an Uber over to the pier. I was sad and upset to pay for the cruise and not able to experience it because of bad timing on my part. I live in Eugene and I left a few hours later in the afternoon. I guess that I'll have to come back.

Loved the staff, especially the guide narrating the entire trip! The weather was perfect as well !! The vessel was very clean and roomy enough for everyone. When we were in line waiting to board, I had concerns because there were so many people boarding, but nope! Felt comfortable the entire time.

If you don't arrive at least 10 minutes early, you probably won't be allowed on board.

Although the tour was decent, we arrived 5 minutes early and were told by Argosy staff that we would not be able to board because the doors close 3 minutes before the boat takes off. We explained that we were early and it wasn't even 3 minutes before it was supposed to take off, and they said that it was too late. Additionally, Argosy said that when you purchase these tickets from a 3rd party vendor, they don't explain this detail. I think viator charges more for the tickets as well. We waited 1.5 hours to board the next boat, which was tough to do with an inpatient and neurodivergent 4 year old. The tour itself was fine.
