After pickup from your uptown Sedona hotel, meet your guide and hear an overview of the points of interest in the area, so that you can customize your tour to your interests and abilities.

Some of the most popular parts of the route include a drive through Oak Creek Canyon, which is considered one of the most beautiful canyons in Arizona, a 'little cousin' to the Grand Canyon. Drive the scenic route that runs between the creek and the towering red rock formations and stop at Bell Rock for stunning views of the massive rock. You can even stop at roadside stands that display Native American jewelry and crafts for sale.

Airport Mesa is another highlight, where you'll want to get your camera out to capture this vantage point on the red rock of West Sedona. Then visit the Chapel of the Holy Cross, an architectural wonder that was built in 1956. The innovative building was constructed on a 250-foot (76-meter) tower of red rock, with an enormous window that illuminates the interior and frames the desert landscape and sky outside.

We arrived in Sedona just in time to join this tour. The van picked us up at our hotel and we joined another couple, the driver, and driver-in-training. Really glad we picked this because it was raining a lot while we were in Sedona but we were nice and dry inside the van while watching others in open jeep rides getting wet or bundled up in plastic rain jackets. Our driver, Bobby, was very informative and showed us all over Sedona. A lot of crowds at the Chapel of the Holy Cross so we were thankful not to have to battle for parking spots if we drove ourselves. Bobby pointed out places we would never have seen on our own and made the trip very enjoyable. The views are breathtaking. Highly recommend this tour even in dry weather.

The tour was beautiful and the guide was very informative. However I was a little disappointed that we did not get out at the vortex like was promised in the description. If I had to do it again I would take the tour on my first day there to discover what I wanted to see more of. Unfortunately we did this on our second day.

We had a short time in Sedona & this was ideal to hit a few highlights without having to deal with parking or driving on a busy day. While the group enjoyed the stops our experience was dampened by our guide Sherman in his attitude, sarcasm and overall condescending demeanor when we asked questions or incorrectly answered any of his questions about the area. This is not the kind of experience you would expect from a tour.

It’s true we saw the chapel of the holy cross (spent 25 minutes there), the airport (yes we were specifically driven through the airport carpark and airport!)and the view from the airport. The guide also pointed out and named many of the rocks including bell rock. However, we spent nearly 3/4 hour driving to pick up the other guests. We asked to be dropped off on the way back to avoid retracing our steps again to drop them off! And the other “highlights’” were a drive through the Tlaquepaque shopping area, and a drive through the Main Street in uptown Sedona pointing out shops and restaurants. I’m still a bit stunned that this was part of the tour. There was no Oak creek canyon scenery, the geology was minimal, history ok. But overall definitely not worth the £115 we paid for 2 of us. I wouldn’t recommend. Get a jeep tour if you can.
