The scenic views were very beautiful. The slow moving motion of the train was very relaxing. The telling of the history was very interesting. Our historian was very knowledgeable and pointed out numerous things of interest. The service on the train was wonderful and it was her first day. The lunch and the snacks were very filling. Great overall experience! Highly recommend!

Relaxing trip, scenic views ,great guide on outside train car. I wish the volume was a bit louder since group behind us kept talking. We couldn’t hear the recording between songs in the inside car. Liesl the bartender and attendant was wonderful.
Nice time
Sarah_R, May 2023
Cool experience. Train cars have comfortable seating and each one has its own bar and bathroom. You pay for tour drinks besides the champagne/cider you get when you first get going. Our attendant in our car was great. Each person gets their own individual charcuterie board which is more than enough for two people and is very good. It is a neat ride and you learn a lot about the area as you ride. It's a little slow moving but relaxing. You can go out on the covered open air cars to see the natural beauty up close.

Red rock mountains beautiful train ride was amazing except for the family with 4kids wasn’t interested in the history loud playing cards running around probably should have stayed home and entertain the kids
Beautiful ride
Mark_R, May 2023
Beautiful scenery and comfortable ride. Provided snack box was great but the box lunch at the station cafe was unnecessary. Service on the train was great.
Response from Host, May 2023
Mark, thanks for riding with us and for sharing this great review.
Beautiful day on the train
Lori_F, May 2023
My husband and I loved this train. The scenery is very pretty and we had gorgeous weather which helps for all the pictures that we took. We have used Viator before and as always everything went smoothly and the included lunch you pick up at the cafe is very good. There are some shaded areas to enjoy your lunch. I am gluten free and they had a really nice fresh salad that was very generous in portion size and my husband had a nice sandwich that he enjoyed. Snacks on the train were also nice. Overall, great experience and a nice and relaxing way to see some desert scenery.

Best way to spend an afternoon!
Gerrie_N, May 2023
From start to finish, this adventure was top notch! There were so many food options to choose from in the cafe. We enjoyed a tasty, leisurely lunch before boarding. The inside of the car was very comfortable and spacious. Our inside host was Carrie. She did a fantastic job of keeping everyone supplied with drinks and stories. Our outside car host was Royce. He did a great job pointing out all of the interesting rock formations and shared so many stories regarding the history of the canyon. Oh, and did I mention an impressive complimentary snack tray & a champagne/cider toast at the start of the journey? Check ✔️ This is a must do adventure in Sedona!
Response from Host, May 2023

Unfortunately we only made it a little ways out when the electricity went out. They put a "bandaid " on it in order to get us back to the station. The staff were so nice and accommodating. Next we are out there we will try it again.
Response from Host, May 2023
Melissa, thank you for your kindness and understanding. We do look forward to making it up to you in the future.
