What To Expect

After pickup in central Pigeon Forge, set out on your wine 'n' shine tasting tour.

Expect to stop at several moonshine distilleries and wineries for tastings, throughout the tour. Hear about the history of moonshine and its influence during Prohibition, and learn about famous moonshines made from the traditional corn mash or rye or sweet flavors like strawberry shortcake. Visit major purveyors that may include Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine, Smith Creek Moonshine, Tennessee XXX Moonshine, Tennessee Legend, and Old Forge Distillery.

If you like wine more than moonshine, try some wines than hail from the mountains of East Tennessee at local wineries. Go inside the wine cellar for tastings at a selection of the following: Hillside Winery, Mill Bridge Winery, Apple Barn Winery, or Mountain Valley Winery.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Great experience! Pam was a wonderful driver for our tour. Would highly recommend. All the stops were professional and made the tour fun! Would recommend packing some small snacks.

Each location had their own servers. Some were funny some were more direct. I appreciate the people who made it an experience more than pouring a drink. Definitely have to pace yourself for this tour.

We had a really fun time. Our van driver, Dustin was funny and knowledgeable. We became fast friends with everyone on the trip. We even had dinner with one of the couples. All of the bartenders were fun, except the man at the orchard winery, we felt that he was rude.

It was just my wife and myself that went in this bus tour. There ended up being one other couple and a family group of seven. As we went from stop to stop, our driver, Dustin, gave us a bit if a history tour as was very informative as of what the next stop would entail. As the stops got more and more. We all started to have more and more fun. I finally asked who was Dustin’s co-pilot riding in the passenger seat. She introduced herself as Pam. And told me that she was hoping to get hired on as a tour driver. After we left the second to last stop, Dustin explained how the last stop would work. This is when we started to thank him with a chant of his name that lasted for two city blocks. Then we welcomed Pam into the fun and also gave her a chant. Followed by another chant telling Dustin to “hire her”. Towards the last couple of turns I Arnold the group that we should all stick around for a group picture that Dustin was more than happy to take for us. We would definitely take your tour again with the experience that we had.
